One night stand with my president(chapter 597)

Chapter 597: Are You Really Not Afraid of Offend..:

Joyce Monroe: "..."

Of course, she understood what Sam Juarez meant.

"You... are you sure?" Joyce looked at him in disbelief.

That night was her first time too; she was far too nervous to notice whether Sam was experienced or not.

"Of course, I'm sure," Sam Juarez said. "I wouldn't lie to you."

Seeing Joyce was still very surprised, he added, "I was indeed irresponsible before, but with them, it was a mutual arrangement.

I needed companionship; they needed the wealth and status I could provide. I never shortchanged them on what they wanted, and all I wanted was companionship. As for that... I never did it with anyone else."

Joyce stared at him, dumbfounded.

"You silly girl," Sam Juarez pinched her cheek. "So you were upset about this? Why didn't you just ask me?"

Joyce said quietly, "I'm already with you, why would I ask about your past? It's just... this situationwith Alberto and Connie, suddenly having another woman and a child appear... it made me panic a bit."

"Don't overthink it," Sam Juarez held her tighter.

"Mm..."

Joyce couldn't help but start worrying about

Connie Miller again.

"If Connie really decides to leave Alberto this time... they might never get back together."

Late at night, Warren Chiang secretly made his way to the hospital.

He didn't take the elevator, instead using the stairwell to reach the floor where Alberto Mendoza's room was located.

As soon as he pushed open the stairwell door, he saw several bodyguards stationed near Alberto's room.

And these bodyguards simultaneously turned their sharp, vigilant gazes towards him.

Warren Chiang's heart skipped a beat.

But he quickly composed himself, pretending to be a visitor, and calmly walked forward a few steps before pushing open the door to one of the other patient rooms.

The patient inside was just preparing to sleep and was startled by his sudden entrance.

"Who are you?"

Warren Chiang quickly closed the door behind him and said, "My apologies, I have the wrong room."

"If you know it's the wrong room, why are you still here? Get out!"

"My sincere apologies."

Despite his words, Warren Chiang, worried the bodyguards outside might get suspicious, lingered for a moment longer before finally exiting the room.

He left the confused patient behind.

After leaving the room, Warren Chiang avoided making eye contact with the bodyguards and quickly retreated back into the stairwell.

Fortunately, the bodyguards didn't pursue him.

He went down one floor before stopping, pulling out his phone.

He was about to message Jasmine Hunter to say this avenue was a dead end when a wave of exhaustion washed over him. He leaned against the wall, rubbing his temples wearily.

He knew perfectly well they couldn't accomplish anything in their current state.

He truly didn't understand why Jasmine Hunter was so insistent.

They had managed to escape abroad.

Wouldn't it be better to just lay low and live quietly?

But he had liked Jasmine Hunter for so many years; that affection felt etched into his very bones and blood. So whenever Jasmine Hunter pleaded with him a little, he found himself unable. to refuse any of her requests.

It seemed this time, he and Jasmine Hunter might truly meet their end in Yewhaina.

A bitter smile touched Warren Chiang's lips.

Just them, he heard the sound of the stairwell door opening on the floor above him.

Worried it might be the bodyguards, he prepared to leave quickly, but then he heard a woman's voice.

"I know, but l've only just made contact with Alberto Mendoza. Expecting him to fall in love with me instantly is impossible!"

The woman was speaking in Yewhainan, which Warren Chiang understood. He clearly heard her mention Alberto Mendoza's name.

Warren Chiang froze.

It sounded like the woman was on a phone call.

"Not to mention, he has a long-term girlfriend by his side," the woman continued.

"I saw it with my own eyes today; he cares deeply for that woman. Even if they separate because of me and the child, getting him to love me in a short time won't be easy."

He couldn't hear the response from the other

end of the line. The woman sighed and said, "I understand. I'll do my best."

After a brief silence, the woman asked, "But I still want to know... You dared to falsify the paternity test results. Are you really not afraid of offending the Mendoza family? If the Mendozas find out the truth later and take their anger out on me, can you really protect me and my child?"

Warren Chiang didn't yet know the specifics of what had happened with the Mendoza family, so even after hearing the woman's words, he was still confused.

The woman spoke again, "Mm, I see. No matter what, as long as my child is safe, that's all that matters."

With that, she fell silent, presumably having ended the call.

After standing in the stairwell for another moment, the woman pulled the door open and left.

Warren Chiang also turned to leave, but suddenly, someone struck the back of his head hard. A heavy blow, and then he lost

consciousness.

Jasmine Hunter had been waiting for Warren Chiang in the hotel.

She waited and waited. By the time the sky was beginning to lighten, she had dozed off briefly, but Warren Chiang still hadn't returned. He hadn't even sent her a message.

Jasmine Hunter grew increasingly panicked.

Had Warren Chiang abandoned her here and left on his own?

No, he wouldn't.

Warren Chiang had liked her for so many years, and he was extremely loyal to Rogelio Hunter.

Whether for Rogelio's sake or for hers, Warren Chiang wouldn't easily betray her.

Then... had Warren Chiang been discovered by the Mendoza family at the hospital?

If that were the case, she needed to leave immediately. Even if Warren Chiang didn't reveal her location, this was the Mendoza family's turf.

Finding her was only a matter of time. She needed to find a more hidden place to lay low.

Jasmine Hunter quickly packed a few things, put on a face mask, and prepared to leave.

But the moment she opened the door, she froze.

Because standing right outside her door was

Russell Hunter.

And behind Russell Hunter were several bodyguards.

How did he...?

Seeing her emerge, Russell Hunter gave a cold smile.

"How convenient."

Jasmine Hunter's face paled inch by inch. She looked at the man before her with near terror.

He was her nephew by blood, and also her stepson.

But right now, she didn't even dare to breathe heavily in front of him.

Despite all her tough talk before, vowing to find a way to deal with this person and that, the sheer fear that surged within her at the sight of Russell Hunter was utterly unstoppable.

"You..."

Jasmine Hunter couldn't form words. She instinctively retreated back into the room.

However, Russell Hunter clearly had no intention of letting her go. As she retreated into the room, he followed, accompanied by four bodyguards.

It wasn't a large hotel, and the room layout was simple, offering nowhere to hide.

After Russell Hunter entered and scanned the room, confirming no one else was there, he asked, "Where is Warren Chiang?"
