One night stand with my president(chapter 503)

Chapter 503: Out of Line

"No, no, that's not what I meant!" Adeline quickly backtracked. "Let me think about your punishment a little more. I haven't decided yet."

Harrison gave a sly little laugh, rolled over, and pinned her down. "But what you just said made me pretty unhappy, Adeline. I think I should punish you first."

With that, he lowered his head and sank his teeth gently into her slender neck.

He really hadn't bitten her that hard, but Adeline played it up, yelping dramatically.

"That really hurt! I swear, I'll never say stuff like that again. Please, have mercy!"

"Nope," Harrison said, voice dark. "You don't get off that easy."

She could clearly feel his body pressing closer, desire obvious.

Desperate, she pleaded, "But I already promised Daphne I'd meet her this afternoon."

"Don't worry. I'll be quick."

Like she could believe that.

Before she could protest again, his lips crashed down on hers, stealing away every word.

Meanwhile, Daphne was already waiting for Adeline at her private photo studio, surrounded by her handsome young assistants.

One massaged her shoulders, another rubbed her legs, a third offered her coffee, and a couple more kept her entertained with jokes.

Daphne was in a great mood, not just from all the pampering. She was genuinely excited that Adeline was finally going to model for her this afternoon.

It had been ages since she'd shot a set of photos that truly satisfied her.

She felt certain Adeline would be the one to break her creative block.

"Daphne, why isn't Miss Hensley here yet?" one assistant asked.

Daphne took a sip of coffee and smiled slyly.

"What's wrong? Missing her already?"

The assistant grinned, "What, are you jealous, Daphne?"

"You silly thing." Daphne shook her head in mock exasperation. "I'm just looking out for you. Seriously, don't even think about making a move on Miss Hensley."

"Come on, l'm your guy! I wouldn't go after Miss Hensley."

Daphne dropped her playful tone and got serious, "No, listen to me. I know Miss Hensley's beautiful. You all adore her, and that's normal. But Mr. Thomson is not someone you want to cross. If you start flirting with Miss Hensley and get on his bad side, not even I could protect you."

Daphne was usually all smiles, but she was deadly serious now.

Her assistants instantly fell silent, remembering just how intimidating Harrison had seemed last time.

Any fantasies about cozying up to Adeline

vanished in a hurry.

Harrison's presence alone was enough to make them nervous, and that was before they factored in his identity.

"You guys, seriously, just behave yourselves,

Okay? It took me forever to convince Adeline to model for me. If you get Harrison upset and he forbids her from coming, what am I supposed to do?"

Just as Daphne finished scolding them, someone outside called out, "Mr. Thomson and Miss Hensley are here!"

Daphne leaped up and rushed to the entrance.

The moment she saw Adeline, she nearly forgot herself.

"Adeline! You're finally here!"

She was so excited that she completely forgot about Harrison, and she actually pushed him aside so she could drag Adeline inside by the hand.

That's when she heard Harrison's cold, ominous voice behind her.

"Daphne, don't you think you're overdoing it?"

A chill ran down Daphne's spine.

She flinched instinctively, realizing she'd made a big mistake.

She'd ignored the mighty Mr. Thomson!

She spun around and flashed him her brightest smile.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Thomson!"

Harrison just stared at her, stone-faced, while Daphne hurried to explain, "I just got so excited seeing Adeline that I forgot to say hi to you! Please don't take it personally."

"I don't care whether you greet me or not,"

Harrison replied. "But isn't it a little much, stealing my girlfriend right in front of me?"

Daphne was speechless.

So that's what he was upset about-not the lack of a greeting, but the fact that she'd whisked Adeline away from him.

"Are you for real?" Daphne muttered, rolling her eyes. "I just wanted to bring Adeline into the studio, that's all."

"Alright, alright," Adeline cut in with a laugh.

"Harrison, don't tease her."

Harrison rubbed his temples.

He really wasn't teasing. He genuinely wasn't thrilled with Daphne's behavior.

But since Adeline had spoken, he let it go.

"Adeline, come on!" Daphne said, pulling her toward the lounge.

The lounge was laid out with all kinds of coffee, lattes, and snacks.

"Adeline, what do you want to drink? You must be tired from the trip. Have some coffee, relax a bit, and then we'll start with hair and makeup."

Still a bit sleepy, Adeline took a cup of coffee and sipped it slowly.

This time, Daphne didn't forget about Harrison.

She handed him a cup, all smiles.

"Mr. Thomson, would you like some coffee?"

"No," Harrison declined, not even trying to hide his dislike.

Daphne muttered under her breath, "No need to be so picky... This coffee's really expensive, you know."

Of course, she didn't dare let him hear it too clearly.

"Daphne," Harrison called out, face blank. "Come with me for a second."

Daphne's heart skipped a beat.

"Wh... what for?"

"Just come."

Daphne shot Adeline a helpless look, but Adeline came to her rescue, "You can just talk to her here."

The moment Adeline spoke up, Harrison stopped insisting.

"Fine, we'll talk here. Daphne, even though Adeline agreed to model for you, she's not a professional. She might not be able to cooperate the way you want. So you need to keep your temper in check, understand?"

Daphne let out a sigh of relief and thought, "So that was it!"

She raised her hand and promised, "Don't worry. I might get snippy with others, but I'd never lose my temper with Adeline."

She'd begged and pleaded for Adeline to do this.

How could she risk scaring her away?

Plus, she already knew Adeline wasn't a pro, so she'd been prepared for that from the start.

"Good." Harrison nodded, satisfied. "And if Adeline gets tired, let her rest. Don't force her to keep shooting.

"No problem," Daphne promised, practically swearing an oath. "You can supervise the whole time, Mr. Thomson! If I mess up, just let me know right away."

She thought to herself, "When have I ever groveled like this for anyone?"

In the past, people would bend over backwards for her, sometimes paying a fortune to book her.

And now here she was, bowing and scraping to Harrison.
