One night stand with my president(chapter 476)

Chapter 476:  You Are Most Qualified

Frankie eagerly poured a glass of wine for Edward, then raised his cup and said, "Edward, a toast to you."

Marshall quickly followed suit, raising his glass.

"To you as well, Edward."

The flattery from both of them made Edward feel a little pleased with himself.

"Cheers," Edward said.

He clinked glasses with them and downed the drink in one go.

This meal was one that Edward enjoyed thoroughly.

The attentiveness and compliments from Frankie and Marshall made him feel like he was still the prestigious heir of the Thomson family.

After all, he was the legitimate blood of the Thomson family. Even though he had temporarily been ousted, he was still far superior to Frankie, who was just an adopted son.

After drinking quite a bit, the alcohol started to take effect, and as he looked at Marshall and Frankie, basking in their "father-son harmony,"

Edward couldn't help but start cursing

Harrison.

"That little brat Harrison, now that he thinks he's got some power, he doesn't even respect me anymore. Every time he sees me, he acts all high and mighty. What, did I owe him something?"

"Don't get mad," Frankie tried to calm him,

"Harrison is the head of the Thomson Group now. It's inevitable that he would be a little arrogant."

"Head of the Thomson Group, huh? He's still my son."

"It doesn't matter. He's in charge now, and with that position, how much family affection can he have left?" Frankie laughed.

"Honestly, the Thomson Group should be yours to control. If you hadn't been away all those years, it would've been you in charge, not Harrison."

"Exactly!" Edward slammed his hand on the table and stood up. "I should be the one in charge of the whole Thomson Group. Only when I decide to step down should it be Harrison's turn."

"Calm down." Frankie pulled him back down, his tone coaxing. "Actually, you still have a chance. Marshall and I will help you. In our eyes, you are the one most qualified to lead the Thomson family."

Edward patted him on the shoulder, touched.

"You and Marshall are far better than my own son."

"Listen to me," Frankie said with a smile.

"I've heard that there are a few projects in the Thomson Group recently..."

Frankie leaned in and whispered something into Edward's ear.

But Edward was obviously too drunk and didn't catch it.

"What? Say that again?"

Frankie repeated, but Edward still didn't understand, and suddenly he vomited, right all over Frankie.

Marshall immediately frowned in disgust and quickly stepped back.

Frankie's face turned dark with anger.

"This drunkard," he muttered.

He hadn't planned on letting Edward drink too much, especially since they were supposed to discuss serious matters.

But they didn't expect Edward to keep pouring drinks for himself.

"I think I've had a bit too much," Edward chuckled.

"It's fine," Frankie said, veins popping in his forehead, but he forced a smile. "I'll have someone take you back to rest. Once you sober up, we'll continue our conversation."

"Alright."

Frankie signaled for someone to come in and take Edward home.

He then went to the washroom to clean himself up.

When he came out, Marshall had already prepared a new outfit for him.

As Frankie changed, he muttered darkly, "That bastard Edward."

"Dad, do you really think this will help us?"

Marshall asked, puzzled.

"Don't worry," Frankie replied calmly.

"Back in the day, Edward had some talent in the Thomson Group, and after all, he is Harrison's father..."
