One night stand with my president(chapter 533)

Chapter 533: A Deal with You

Fletcher and Litzy stood at the gates, not leaving for a long time.

"What did Adeline mean by that?"

"Pedro went to catch Benjamin," Fletcher said with a grim expression. "So, does she mean that Pedro was kidnapped by Benjamin?"

"That's impossible!" Litzy exclaimed angrily.

"We've considered this before, but Benjamin is already being hunted by the police in Mugroaton. He's been a fugitive for so long. How could he have kidnapped our son?"

Fletcher wiped his face, saying, "'ve been trying to tell you this. You've been overestimating Pedro. You know exactly what he's made of, don't you?"

Litzy's lips trembled. "Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"I told you, but you wouldn't listen. You were too focused on asking Adeline. I couldn't even stop you."

"If it really was Benjamin, what do we do?"

Litzy murmured. "Pedro went to catch him, but if Benjamin got him, there's no way he's going to have an easy time. He'll do everything to torture Pedro.”

"The only option now is to send people over to search," Fletcher said weakly. "I just sent another group over, but we don't know much about the situation there, and Benjamin's hiding place is probably well-hidden. We don't even know if we'll be able to find him."

Litzy suddenly turned and looked towards the Mendoza family.

"The Mendoza family is familiar with the area. If they help, they should be able to find Pedro."

She said this as she started toward the Mendoza family.

Fletcher quickly grabbed her, lowering his voice.

"Are you crazy? Do you think Adeline will help you? And look at those bodyguards. Do you really think they'll let you in?"

Fletcher's words made her snap back to reality.

She looked at the bodyguards, who were clearly not going to let her through easily.

In despair, Litzy cried out, "What should I do? My son, Pedro... If something happens to him, I might as well die with him."

In that moment, both Fletcher and Litzy felt a sense of resentment toward the Mendoza family.

They had a long-standing relationship.

Even if Pedro had done wrong before, Adeline had safely returned.

But now, Pedro's situation was uncertain.

They couldn't believe that the Mendoza family wouldn't offer help.

But of course, they didn't dare say any of this out loud at the gates.

"Let's go for now," Fletcher said, putting his arm around her shoulders. "It's late, and it won't help to just stay here. Tomorrow, you can ask Gracie. You've been close for so many years. If you beg her and shed a few tears, maybe she'll soften."

"We've begged before," Litzy complained.

"But Gracie values her daughter too much. She won't forgive Pedro and won't forgive us."

"Then beg her a few more times. We can't find Pedro on our own. It's too difficult."

As they spoke, they walked toward their car.

Their car was parked nearby.

When they reached the car, Litzy pulled open the back seat door, only to scream out, "Who are you?"

They hadn't called a driver today; Fletcher had driven them himself.

Litzy, being used to sitting in the back, hadn't expected someone to be inside.

She had barely opened the door when she saw a woman sitting in the back seat.

"Mrs. Livingston, it's me," Camilla sneered. "It's only been a few days, and you don't recognize me?"

In the dim light of the car, Litzy saw her face clearly.

"It's you," Litzy said impatiently. "How did you get into our car? What do you want? Get out of here."

"Maybe it's because you were so caught up in your thoughts that you forgot to lock the car when you got out," Camilla smiled.

"That doesn't give you the right to get in our car," Litzy snapped.

She had no good feelings toward Camilla.

When they first heard about Pedro's disappearance, she had been troubled.

Then, Camilla had gone to their house, crying and claiming she had been with Pedro and demanded that the Livingston family take responsibility for her.

It was a joke.

Camilla should have known better than to think she could marry into the Livingston family.

They thought kicking Camilla out would be the end of it.

But now, Camilla dared to get into their car without permission.

"Please don't be upset," Camilla said. "I genuinely want to make a deal with you."

"A deal? With you?" Fletcher sneered, reaching to grab her.

Camilla dodged him and said, "I know you're worried about your son. You want to find him, right? But the Mendoza family refuses to help you, and now you're in a panic, right?"

Litzy's face hardened. "So, you've been eavesdropping on us."

"I overheard by accident," Camilla shrugged.

"What I want to tell you is that maybe I can help. But now, it's up to you whether you're willing to have a proper conversation with me."

Fletcher and Litzy exchanged a look.

Honestly, they didn't think someone like Camilla could help them.

But at this point, they might as well give it a try.

So, they didn't immediately force Camilla out of the car.

Once they were both inside and the door was

closed, Litzy coldly asked, "What can you do for us?"

"I want to get into the Mendoza family," Camilla said. "I've been lingering near the Mendoza family for a while now. The other day, I overheard two bodyguards talking. They mentioned that the Mendoza family is looking to hire new servants soon."

Litzy scoffed, "What? You think you can get in as a servant? You just said you've been hanging around the Mendoza family. Surely, they ve seen you by now. So, how do you plan on getting in?"

"Well, that's where you come in." Camilla shrugged. "I can tell you this: The Mendoza family is big, and there are a lot of servants. Not everyone knows me. Once the new servants start, Adeline and the others won't have time to check every single face."

Litzy actually thought about what she said.

The Mendoza family was huge, and so many people came and went-cleaners, movers, kitchen help... And since all the female servants wore the same uniforms, Adeline and the others might not pay attention to every single face.

If Camilla truly got in as a servant, no one would even notice her.

At that point, she could have someone help Camilla change her appearance.
