Chapter 467: It Misses You
Although it seemed like Harrison had upset
Adeline, as long as she was still willing to eat the food he prepared for her, he was content.
After watching TV shows all morning, Adeline felt it was time for lunch.
But she had already eaten so many snacks and fruits in the morning, she wasn't hungry at all.
All of it was Harrison's fault.
He had brought her so much food.
That was why she had eaten so much.
So she shot Harrison a fierce glare and then went to the bedroom to take a nap.
Harrison felt wronged.
He thought, "I haven't done anything. How have I upset her again?"
Watching Adeline walk toward the bedroom, he couldn't help but follow and ask, "Aren't you going to have lunch?"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the bedroom door was slammed shut.
He tried to push the door open, only to find it had been locked from the inside.
He felt a bit frustrated.
Adeline was mad at him, but she didn't have to lock him out.
Adeline napped for about an hour.
When she lazily opened her eyes, she suddenly noticed a hand around her waist.
She blinked in confusion.
She had locked Harrison out of the room when she came in.
Slowly, she turned her head.
Harrison was lying beside her, fast asleep.
She wondered, "How did he get in after I locked him out? Did he somehow break the lock?"
Adeline quickly sat up and looked at the door.
The doorknob was perfectly intact, and it didn't look like anyone had tampered with it.
Her sudden movement woke Harrison.
He slowly opened his eyes and smiled at her.
That smile made Adeline's heart skip a beat.
She thought, "To blame was the man's irresistible charm."
She couldn't let herself be so easily swayed.
So, she deliberately asked in a huff, "How did you get in?"
Although the door design allowed it to be opened from the outside with a key, the key was inside the room.
So she didn't know how Harrison got into the room.
"I found the spare key," Harrison admitted, his voice still a little hoarse from waking up.
This made Adeline remember, when he was passionate, his voice also had that rough edge to it.
Her ears turned red, and she quickly turned her gaze away.
She thought, "A spare key? How have I never known about it?"
Adeline huffed in a deliberately cold manner and prepared to get out of bed.
But Harrison grabbed her wrist, not letting her leave.
"You've already spoken to me," he said.
"Does that mean we're good now?"
"Since when was there such a rule?" Adeline retorted and tried to push his hand away.
But Harrison was quicker than her.
He leaned over and pinned her to the bed.
"Get off me!" Adeline tried to push him away.
But Harrison had been naked when he went to sleep.
When she pushed, she touched his abs.
No matter how many times she touched them, his abs still felt incredible.
She couldn't help but touch them again and quickly retracted her hand.
Harrison, however, smirked, "If you want to touch, just go ahead. I'm all yours. What's a little abs?"
He then grabbed her hand and guided it back to his abs.
As she touched them, he moved her hand lower.
Adeline tried to pull her hand back.
But Harrison wouldn't let her.
"Feel it," he teased. "It's missing you."
"I don't miss it. Let go..."
"Really? It doesn't believe you."
With that, Harrison leaned down and kissed her.
Adeline was truly angry.
Mostly, she was mad at herself.
She had been trying to stay angry at Harrison, but he won her over so easily.
Harrison tried to hug her, but she pushed him away without mercy.
Just then, her stomach growled loudly.
Even though she had eaten a lot of snacks and fruits in the morning, she hadn't had lunch yet, and with the physical activity earlier, hunger hit her all at once.
"Hungry?" Harrison smiled. "I'll have food sent up."
Adeline didn't answer.
She was still mad, but she needed to eat.
Harrison sent a message, and soon enough, a lavish meal was delivered.
The table was filled with all of Adeline's favorite dishes.
As she looked at the spread, Adeline's heart softened a little.
Harrison just wanted to be good to her.
Though his way was a bit extreme, it was all because he loved her and wanted to make up for everything.
She had given him the silent treatment all morning, but he didn't get upset.
Instead, he ordered all her favorite dishes to be brought up.
Even earlier, when they were in bed, he was considerate of her feelings.
Maybe she should be kinder to him.
Just as Adeline picked up her knife and fork and prepared to serve Harrison some food, Harrison quickly rushed over, snatched the fork from her hand, and fed her a piece of meat.
"Here, let me feed you." Adeline was speechless.
She knew she shouldn't have softened up to him.
So, she kicked him away again.
After a full dav of silent treatment. Harrison
finally started to hold back.
Adeline had said to him in the evening, "If you really want to make it up to me, shouldn't you listen to me and do whatever I tell you?"
Harrison thought about it, and it seemed to make sense.
So, he agreed to listen to Adeline.
Seeing his sincere apology, Adeline decided to make it up to him.
Harrison was delighted and clung to her, asking for a kiss.
But just then, Harrison's phone rang.
He answered the call and instantly transformed into the cold Mr. Thomson.
"You're asking me about this little thing?"
As soon as he said that, Adeline could imagine the person on the other end of the line holding his breath.
Harrison continued to coldly reprimand them.
After hanging up, he leaned back over.
"Give me a kiss."
Adeline's mouth twitched.
He really had two faces.
Finally, after getting his kiss, Harrison held her close and asked, "What do you want to do tomorrow?"
This was only the first day of the weekend.
They had spent the whole day at home.
Harrison wanted to take her out.
"I haven't decided," Adeline said, playing with his long fingers. "What do you think?"
Harrison smiled and said, "Since you haven't decided, tomorrow, I'll take you to meet someone."
"Who?"
"You'll find out when we get there."
After making up. Sam and Joyce toured around tarea, and since they were getting tired of it, they decided to head to the next place.
"How about I go back to Orianto first?" Sam asked Joyce. "My parents have been asking to meet you, and they want me to bring you home.
Also, I need to visit your parents too."
"So soon?" Joyce hesitated. "I'm a bit nervous."
