One night stand with my president(chapter 465)

Chapter 465: It's Nothing

After a long while, the beautiful Lubrea woman finally left.

She left with a smile on her face, and Joyce couldn't help but wonder what kind of pleasant conversation she had with Sam.

Joyce silently watched the scene, her face unreadable.

Once the woman was gone, she returned to Sam's side and sat down.

"Why were you gone so long?" Sam asked with concern. "Is something wrong?"

Joyce lightly laughed twice and said, "No."

Sam thought her laugh sounded a bit strange.

"Did something happen?" he quickly asked.

"If you thought I'd been gone for too long, why didn't you come look for me?" Joyce suddenly asked.

Sam was taken aback.

"In a foreign country, at a bar we've never been to... I went to the restroom alone and

was gone for so long. Don't you find it strange? Don't you worry?" Joyce's smile was faint. "Or, was something else holding you back, making you forget about me?"

As she said this, Sam immediately realized that she must have seen him talking to the beautiful Lubrea woman earlier.

"It's not what you think," Sam explained.

"She..."

"What is it then?" Joyce's expression gradually grew colder.

A chill ran through Sam.

Sam thought, "After all these days together, she has never trusted me?"

Even though they were now together, in her heart, he was still the same flirtatious man who indulged in his many romantic affairs.

"Now that we are together, why couldn't she just trust me this once? If she doesn't trust me, why is she even with me?" Sam thought.

Sam lowered his gaze and said, "It's nothing." If she believed what she saw, then there was nothing more he could explain.

No matter how he explained it, in her heart, he had already been judged.

So what was the point of explaining anything?

Hearing his words, Joyce sneered.

She stood up, grabbed her bag, and walked toward the door.

Sam suddenly felt a pang of panic.

He quickly grabbed her wrist.

Joyce jerked his hand off, turning away without looking back as she continued to walk out.

Sam hurriedly followed her.

After all, he couldn't just let her walk alone on the streets of a foreign country at night.

They hadn't driven, and the bar was close to the hotel.

After leaving the bar, Joyce walked straight toward, the hotel.

Sam silently followed behind her, not daring to speak to her.

He just silently walked after her.

When they returned to the hotel room, Joyce didn't say a word. She dropped her bag and went straight to the  bathroom to take a shower.

After she finished, Sam went in to shower as well.

Neither of them spoke a word, nor did they exchange any glances.

After Sam finished, he noticed the blanket on the bed was raised in a lump.

Joyce had already gotten into bed.

He felt worried.

He wasn't sure if she had dried her hair properly before getting in bed.

After he finished drying his own hair, he got into bed, pulled back the covers, and embraced her from behind.

Joyce elbowed him, trying to push him away.

But he simply turned her toward him and kissed her on the lips.

Joyce kicked him in anger.

Sam quickly pinned her legs down.

He could feel she wasn't being cooperative.

He easily found her sensitive spots.

Joyce seemed to react.

Sam sighed in relief.

Fortunately, she didn't completely despise him or hate him.

Gradually, Joyce stopped resisting.

Afterward, as Sam cleaned them both up, Joyce continued to lie with her back to him, not looking. at him, not speaking.

"Is she still mad?" Sam thought, feeling troubled.

A few days ago, they had had some minor disagreements, but after a friendly conversation, everything had been resolved.

But this time, it, seemed she was really upset.

Sam was about to speak and explain himself, but then he heard Joyce's even breathing.

He leaned over to check.

Her eyes were closed. She had fallen asleep.

It seemed that she was exhausted from everything that had happened.

Since Joyce was asleep, Sam naturally didn't want to wake her.

He simply gently embraced her and closed his eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep himself.

When Joyce woke up in the morning, she found the bed next to her empty.

For a moment, she panicked.

She thought, "Did Sam leave and go back home?"

But soon, she dismissed the thought.

After all, Sam wouldn't do something like that.

She wasn't sure where he had gone.

Maybe he didn't want to be in the same room with her herance of their aroliment

with her because of their argument.

Joyce shifted her legs slightly, wincing in pain.

She couldn't help but curse Sam in her mind.

Last night, he was even rougher than usual.

She almost had to beg him to stop.

But in the end, she had managed to hold on.

They were still arguing.

She definitely wouldn't beg him for mercy.

Thinking back to what happened last night made her angry.

He had been chatting with another woman while. she was away. And he didn't even explain things to her.

Joyce's heart ached as she thought about it.

She couldn't help but pick up her phone and message Adeline.

It should be afternoon in Orianto by now.

She told Adeline everything that had happened last night.

After a while, Adeline replied, "Did Sam and the woman show any signs of being physically intimate?"

Joyce thought back and said, "No, it was just chatting. There was no physical contact. But they were talking so happily, and Sam was laughing so much."

"Then how do you know they were flirting?

Maybe they were talking about something related to you."

Joyce paused.

After a moment, Adeline sent another message, saying, "Of course, I'm not defending Sam, and I'm not making excuses for him. Given how he used to be, I can understand why you'd be worried. I just think you should talk to him to avoid misunderstandings and end up parting ways unhappily."

If they ended up like Alberto and Connie, that would be a sad story.

"If Sam dares to keep flirting after being with you, I won't let him off either. But right now, the situation is unclear, isn't it? You two should have a good conversation."

"He wouldn't even explain it to me yesterday," Joyce said.

"Maybe he's not feeling great either," Adeline said.

Joyce glanced at the empty space next to her on the bed.

Sam was nowhere to be found.

She had always woken up to find him by her side... Joyce's heart tightened.

But just then, she heard the sound of the room door opening.
