One night stand with my president(chapter 340)

Chapter 340 He Wants to Marry Adeline

After Pedro spoke, as if worried that Adeline wouldn't believe him, he grabbed the graspers and tried to pick up the meatball in front of him.

But he failed.

Adeline was speechless.

Of all the things he could have tried to pick up, he chose the round, slippery meatball.

"Oh, mistake," Pedro laughed, not at all embarrassed, and continued trying.

Adeline wanted to remind him that he could use the spoon nearby.

But to her surprise, Pedro did manage to pick it up.

Then, he placed the meatball into Adeline's bowl.

"Adeline, you should eat more," Pedro said.

Adeline smiled politely, "Thank you."

"You're welcome. What else do you want? I'll get it for you," Pedro insisted.

"No, I can do it myself. I'm quite good with the graspers too," Adeline replied with a smile.

"Adeline, you're so funny," Pedro said, clearly charmed by her.

Pedro's obvious attention to Adeline didn't escape the notice of the other three members of the Mendoza family.

Alberto whispered to Isaac, "Dad, I don't think Adeline likes Pedro. You should stop saying things like that." Isaac sighed.

He knew very well that Adeline didn't like Pedro because the person Adeline liked was Harrison.

But Isaac couldn't stand Harrison, especially since Harrison had the audacity to bring another woman to a hotel.

Isaac knew there was probably some misunderstanding in between.

Isaac thought, "But if there was a

misunderstanding, why hasn't Harrison cleared it up with Adeline yet?"

Even though Adeline didn't show it very openly, Isaac could tell she was upset.

It was all because of that damn Harrison.

Just thinking about it made Isaac angry.

Gracie also intervened, "They're both grown now, Isaac. We can't interfere in their love lives. I like Pedro, and the Livingston family is a good match, but Adeline doesn't like him."

"Alright, I get it," Isaac replied. "I won't say anything more, but if Harrison makes my daughter upset again, I won't let him off the hook."

"It's normal for young couples to argue. Why are you making it sound so serious?" Gracie said helplessly. "Didn't I make you angry when we were young? How many times did I cry because of you?"

Isaac was speechless.

Gracie's teasing about his past embarrassed him.

"Don't worry. If Harrison does hurt Adeline, I'll be the first to deal with him," Gracie

reassured him. "But for now, it's probably just a misunderstanding between them. Let's wait and see."

"Alright, Isaac  muttered.

After dinner, Pedro enthusiastically invited Adeline to go out.

"I have a lot of friends, and they're all gathering at our usual club tonight. Vil take you there and Introduce you to them. You'll have a great time with everyone."

Adeline didn't want to go, so she politely declined.

"I just got to Yewhaina, and I'm soll adjusting to the time difference. I'm feeling a bit sleepy" she said.

Pedro looked a little disappointed

However, he didn't press the matter. After bidding farewell to the Mendoza family, he left, After leaving, Pedro drove his sports car to the club.

the club was blasting loud music, and as 5000 as Pedro walked in, a curvaceous blonde woman immediately approached him.

"Mr. Livingston, I thought you weren't coming tonight," she said.

Pedro gave her a forceful kiss on the lips and said, "If I didn't come, who else would satisfy you?"

"You're so annoying," the woman teased.

Pedro burst out laughing.

Out here, he was a different person—a lively, energetic young man.

Even his own parents didn't know this side of him.

This was the spot where he and his rowdy friends used to hang out, losing themselves in reckless antics.

"Pedro, weren't you at the Mendoza family today?" a young man asked while playing pool.

"What?" The music was so loud that Pedro couldn't hear him clearly.

The young man raised his voice and repeated, "I said, weren't you at the Mendoza family today?"

"Yeah, I was."

"Did you meet that girl with whom you have a betrothal?"

"Of course. She really caught my eye," Pedro said with a wicked grin. "Unfortunately, she seems like a tough one to crack."

"Well, pretty girls are always tough to handle. You'll have to work harder, Pedro," the man joked.

"I will. Don't worry. It's not every day that Isaac finds his daughter, so I'm going to seize this opportunity to become his son-in-law."

Pedro had long had his eyes on the Mendoza family.

But the only way to get the Mendoza family's wealth was to marry Isaac's daughter.

Ever since he had this idea, he had been eagerly waiting for Isaac's daughter to be found.

Now that she had finally returned and was even a stunning beauty, Pedro couldn't afford to miss this chance.

But he could tell that Adeline wasn't interested in him, and she was hard to pursue.

But that was fine— it was only the first day.

He had plenty of time to use all his tricks to win her over.

By the time Harrison arrived in Yewhaina, it was still early morning.

"Mr. Thomson, the hotel is already arranged, and the car is waiting outside. Would you like to rest at the hotel first?" Rowen, who had come along with him, asked.

"No need," Harrison replied. "I'm going straight to the Mendoza family."

Rowen knew Harrison was eager to see Adeline, so he didn't say anything else. After getting into the car, he instructed the driver to head straight to the Mendoza family.

Even though an entire night had passed, Harrison still couldn't control his excitement.

The woman from that night was likely Adeline.

It was incredible.

Ever since Kyson had told him what happened, Harrison had remembered many details.

That morning, after waking up in the hotel room, he had indeed seen several used condoms in the trash can.

This matched Kyson's story about Adeline delivering them to him at the hotel.

Also, every time Harrison had mentioned the woman from that night, Adeline had reacted oddly.

At the time, he hadn't paid much attention, thinking that Adeline was simply caught off guard by the fact that he had been set up to sleep with another woman, which made her less calm than usual.

But deep down, he had wondered for a moment if the woman from that night could have been Adeline.

However, as soon as that thought crossed his mind, he quickly dismissed it.

He had thought it was impossible.

Now, he realized he had been too absolute in his thinking.

If he had known it was Adeline that night, he would not have needed to be so anxious and worried about being rejected for so long

The car stopped in front of the Mendoza family.

It was almost breakfast time.

"Mr. Thomson, we've arrived at the Mendoza family," Rowen announced.

Harrison turned to look at the Mendoza family through the car window, his heart racing.

Finally, he was about to see Adeline.

Even if he hadn't known the woman from that night was Adeline, he would still be excited.

After all, they had been ignoring each other for days, and Harrison hadn't seen her for quite a while.

But now that he knew the woman from that night could have been her, his emotions were mixed with something else entirely.

Just then, Harrison saw a flashy sports car pull up in front of the Mendoza family.

A young foreign man got out of the car.
