Chapter 318: Like a Loyal Knight

"Shut up!" Eleanor screamed.

She had completely lost control and attempted to rush off the stage toward Halle.

But two security guards stopped her.

The guards had to manage both the unruly audience and Eleanor herself.

Halle cast a cold glance at Eleanor before continuing, "Ever since I became Eleanor's assistant, she has relentlessly abused me.

Whenever she was unhappy, she would either hit or scold me. It wasn't just when I made mistakes; she would vent her anger on me after being upset elsewhere. Being slapped or beaten by her became a routine part of my life."

Someone in the crowd muttered, "No wonder. Whenever this assistant was seen with Eleanor, she was always wearing a mask."

"And now that it's winter and everyone's bundled up, her injuries were probably hidden under her clothes..."

"Eléanor is truly ruthless. Look at the assistant now, covered in injuries. That must have been her doing."

The crowd, along with those watching the livestream, was furious.

"How could Eleanor be so malicious? She's a woman herself, yet she tried to ruin another woman's reputation?"

"I can't believe I ever liked her. This is a stain on my history as a fan."

"No way. I refuse to believe it. Eleanor would never do such a thing. Are you seriously just believing this assistant's words?"

"Seriously? Did you not see that whole video just now?"

"Wow, Eleanor insulted her fans behind their backs, and you're still defending her?

"Even Eleanor's biggest fans are starting to turn against her. Who would support someone like this?"

"From now on, I'm boycotting any shows or products associated with her."

"Don't worry; she won't have any more opportunities to act or endorse products. 

The entertainment industry won't have a place for her anymore."

Halle wasn't done yet.

She took a moment to compose herself before continuing, "And that's not all. 

Eleanor has blood on her hands."

"What? Blood on her hands? Are you serious?"

"Did Eleanor kill someone? Who?"

Eleanor tried to scream again to silence Halle, but a quick-thinking guard clamped a hand over her mouth.

Halle continued, "You all probably

remember the Amber case that caused an uproar online. Although two foreigners eventually confessed, and they were indeed the ones who committed the crime, the real mastermind was Eleanor."

At this revelation, Eleanor's hope completely crumbled.

Halle had exposed all of her secrets. 

Eleanor's future was utterly destroyed.

"So Halle was colluding with Adeline all along," Eleanor thought bitterly.

The videos Eleanor had discovered on Halle's phone the previous day were just a small fraction. Most of them had already been sent to Adeline.

"Yes, I did many things for Eleanor-harming others, passing on messages-which led to my injuries. I have no excuses for my actions, and I accept my punishment. But Eleanor should face consequences too. Why should someone like her continue to deceive the public and enjoy so much admiration? She must pay for what she's done." Halle spoke with raw emotion.

"Exactly," Sidney added. "Eleanor also has a habit of bullying newcomers. I remember once, during a show recording in Mugroaton, she teamed up with Chelsea, a rising star back then. Eleanor kept tormenting Chelsea and then hired trolls to shift the blame entirely onto her, making herself look like the victim. She's done this countless times and hurt so many people."

Sidney's words sparked memories in the crowd.

"I remember Chelsea's situation. She got dragged through the mud back then, accused of being arrogant and disrespectful to senior actors."

"That incident triggered massive cyberbullying against Chelsea."

"Thank goodness she made it through."

"Finally, someone is standing up for Chelsea."

At this point, the guards released Eleanor.

But Eleanor, disoriented and pale, couldn't utter a single word.

She collapsed onto the ground.

It was over. Everything was over.

Her life was ruined.

Eleanor thought, "It's all Adeline's doing...

Everything is Adeline's fault."

Eleanor glared at Adeline with fiery hatred.

Suddenly, Eleanor noticed a familiar figure standing behind Adeline.

It was Harrison.

With all eyes focused on Eleanor and her assistants, and Harrison wearing a mask, no one else noticed him.

But Eleanor spotted him immediately.

Harrison didn't spare her a glance.

His eyes were fixed solely on Adeline.

He looked like a loyal knight, protecting his queen.

The last shred of Eleanor's composure shattered.

Her vision went dark, and she fainted.

After Eleanor collapsed, Theo arranged for her to be sent to the hospital.

After all, it was his movie's promotional event.

He couldn't just leave her there.

Eleanor's reputation was completely ruined.

The internet was flooded with outrage against her.

Her fans abandoned her, disgusted by her insults.

The news reached Mugroaton, where her remaining supporters were equally shocked and began turning on her.

Because Halle's revelations involved Amber's case, the police visited Eleanor in the hospital to question her.
