Chapter 191: Making the Accusation Stick
Adeline frowned. She found Eleanor a bit strange.
Adeline said, "Sorry, I have no intention of entering the entertainment industry."
Eleanor, however, seemed unwilling to give up and continued, "You don't have to rush to refuse.
Don't you want to stand under the spotlight and enjoy being surrounded by flowers and applause?"
If she could persuade Adeline to enter the entertainment industry, Adeline's contact with Harrison would be less.
Although her connections in the domestic entertainment industry were not very extensive, she was confident she could suppress Adeline.
At that time, she would make Adeline taste the pain properly.
"Sorry, I'm not interested."

When she heard Adeline's firm refusal, Eleanor's face darkened significantly.
"I've been very sincere, Ms. Hensley. Don't you think you're being a bit ungrateful?"
Adeline smiled and said, "So in your view, as long as there is sincerity, one can do anything. Then I sincerely hope you will disappear from my sight.
Can you fulfill that for me?"
"You..."
Eleanor's face turned livid with anger.
Her chest heaved with rage.
In contrast, Adeline remained much calmer.
Adeline had long understood that getting angry with someone like Eleanor was pointless.
After a moment of rage, Eleanor laughed.
"Adeline, sooner or later, you will regret this."
"Perhaps," Adeline said, "but I'll try to avoid letting that day come."
Eleanor snorted and left quickly, stepping out of the restroom without noticing the step at the

entrance and falling awkwardly.
Eleanor screamed in pain.
Fortunately, she wasn't injured, just a bit sore.
At that moment, a pair of leather shoes appeared in front of her.
Eleanor's expression froze.
She even forgot to stand up immediately and instead slowly lifted her head.
And there, she saw the familiar handsome face.
It was Harrison.
At that moment, Eleanor had only one thought.
She wanted to hide.
She never imagined she would be so embarrassed in front of Harrison one day.
Eleanor thought angrily, "It is all that damned Adeline's fault."
But Harrison didn't seem to care about her embarrassment. He simply asked calmly, "Are you alright?"

Eleanor hurriedly got up from the ground.
At that moment, an idea suddenly flashed in her mind.
She discreetly looked around and found there were no cameras.
And it was impossible to have cameras inside the restroom.
So, she quickly fell into acting mode, lightly patting her clothes and shaking her head, saying softly, "I'm fine. Harrison, please don't blame Ms.
Hensley."
Adeline just arrived at the entrance and was confused by her words.
Eleanor had fallen by her own mistake. What did that have to do with Adeline?
Adeline thought, "Is she starting acting again?"
Harrison glanced at Adeline but remained silent.
"Ms. Hensley, it was my fault. I became angry because you refused my proposal, so I spoke harshly," Eleanor said, lowering her head. "But you should never act out like that in the future.

This time, I won't hold it against you, but if it were someone else, it would be problematic."
"What proposal?" Harrison asked.
Eleanor said, "I thought Ms. Hensley was very beautiful and wanted to have her develop in the entertainment industry."
Harrison's expression darkened as he thought,
"She wanted Adeline to join the entertainment industry?"
That would mean Adeline wouldn't be around
Harrison.
If Adeline wanted to join the entertainment industry on her own, that was one thing, but he knew that Adeline had no interest in the entertainment industry at all.
What kind of ridiculous proposal was this?
Seeing Harrison's displeased expression, Eleanor quickly said, "It was my oversight earlier, causing Ms. Hensley to be unhappy, which led to her acting out. I understand."
"Hold on," Adeline said. "So you're saying that I pushed you down just now?"

Eleanor softly replied, "If you don't want to admit it, then just say I fell by myself." Adeline smiled.
Eleanor didn't understand the meaning of her smile, but it felt strangely eerie.
Adeline looked around and nodded, saying, "Yes, indeed, there are no cameras. No wonder you dared to lie."
Eleanor looked at Harrison pitifully, completely unaware that his disgust had reached its peak.
Wasn't there anything else she could try? Did she take Harrison for a fool?
Just as he was about to speak, Harrison saw Adeline striding toward Eleanor.
Before Eleanor could react, Adeline reached out and grabbed her hair.
The sharp pain made Eleanor scream. "What are you doing? Let go of me."
Harrison was also surprised, but he did not stop her.

Eleanor repeatedly smeared Adeline's reputation.

even he couldn't tolerate it, let alone Adeline.
"You said I attacked you," Adeline sneered. "Since you've already put this accusation on me, I can't let it go unpunished.
That would be too unfair. I might as well make the accusation stick."
"Let go of me. Harrison, help me."
Adeline shot Harrison a cold glance.
Harrison immediately looked innocent, indicating he had no intention of intervening.
Adeline dragged Eleanor back to the sink, turned on the faucet, and forcefully shoved Eleanor's head under the running water.
"Adeline, you..."
"Next time, please don't use such tactics in front of me. It's annoying."
Eleanor was left speechless.
But not long after, Adeline pulled Eleanor out from under the faucet and threw her aside.
She just wanted to teach Eleanor a lesson, not to

cause serious harm.
Eleanor fell to the ground again, drenched and shivering, staring at Adeline without saying a word.
"Now l've acted against you," Adeline said indifferently. "If you want to play the victim or sue me, I'm ready for it."
Eleanor couldn't do any of that.
She had been relieved earlier that there were no cameras, but now she was extremely frustrated.
Without cameras, there was no record of what Adeline had just done.
She had no evidence.
Moreover, there were only three of them present.
Could she have Harrison testify for her?
But Harrison had shown no intention of stopping
Adeline.
He was clearly on Adeline's side.
