One night stand with my president(chapter 203)

Chapter 203: Do You Know Callan

In a private room on the top floor of the

"Lavender Foodie" restaurant, the room was already full of people.

"Why did Harrison call us here? What's this about?" One of the men cautiously asked.

"I have no idea," another man said with frustration. "Did any of you do something recently to make Harrison upset?"

"No way."

"Who would dare to upset Harrison? Do they have a death wish?"

The group continued to talk over each other.

These people didn't see Harrison often.

So they didn't know why Harrison suddenly invited them to a meal.

But once they heard it was Harrison calling, none of them dared to delay and rushed over immediately, although it was neither breakfast nor lunch time.

They could not be naive enough to think that Harrison invited them just for a meal.

Just as everyone was feeling anxious, the door to the private room opened.

The person who walked in was Harrison.

Rowen followed behind him.

"Harrison."

"Harrison is here."

Everyone immediately stood up to greet

Harrison.

Harrison nodded slightly and said, "Take a seat."

After speaking, he took the main seat.

Rowen stood behind him.

The others quickly sat down as well, all carefully observing Harrison's reaction.

Seeing that he didn't seem upset, they finally started to relax a little.

"Have you ordered yet?" Harrison asked.

"Not yet, we were waiting for you. After all, you're the one treating us today," Ayden Hodge, who was a bit more familiar with Harrison, joked.

Harrison smiled and said, "Then let's start ordering now."

A menu was placed in front of each person.

Unsure of what Harrison intended, and not daring to go against him, each person ordered one or two dishes, cold dishes, hot dishes, soups, and desserts. They even avoided ordering desserts that were too sweet, knowing Harrison didn't like them.

After the orders were placed, Harrison began speaking, "The reason I called you all here today is that I need a favor."

"Harrison, just tell us what you want. We're here for you," Ayden said.

"It's nothing major. I just need you to find someone," Harrison said.

When they heard this, everyone's worries disappeared completely.

Ayden thought, "So it's just about finding someone."

"Harrison, just say the word. No matter who it is, we'll find them, even if we have to dig them out of the ground," Ayden promised, pounding his chest.

"Exactly. You have always treated us well. Now that you've asked, we'll do whatever it takes to find this person."

Harrison said, "You all have good connections on the streets, and you know a lot of people. I want to ask if any of you know or have heard of someone named 'Callan.'

"Callan? Hmm, I don't think l've heard of him. Do you know him?"

"No, I don't..."

"Is it that guy under Keagan Lynch?"

"No, that one's name is Wayne Gamble. Not him."

As everyone discussed, Harrison kept observing each person's reactions.

Soon, he noticed someone's eyes darting around, looking a bit guilty.

He curled his lips into a cold smile and called out, "Ethan, do you have something to say?"

Ethan Saunders shivered and quickly replied,

"N... No, Harrison, I don't know this person you mentioned."

"Really?" Harrison's gaze darkened.

Everyone sensed something was off and immediately fell silent, all eyes on Ethan.

Ethan was one of Ayden's men, and Ayden immediately shouted at him with a fierce tone, "Ethan, if you have something to say, say it now. Are you trying to get yourself into trouble by hiding something from Harrison?"

"I... I really don't..." Ethan's forehead began to sweat.

Harrison gave Rowen a look.

Rowen understood immediately, walked over to Ethan, grabbed the back of his collar, and dragged him closer to Harrison.

Ethan's legs nearly gave out, and he almost fell to his knees.

"Stand up straight." Rowen barked.

Trembling, Ethan forced himself to stand upright.

"Do you know 'Callan'?" Harrison asked.

"I... I don't..."

The atmosphere in the room suddenly got tensed.

Not just Ethan, even the others were starting to break out in a cold sweat.

Ayden was both angry and scared. After all, Ethan was one of his men, and if Ethan angered Harrison, it wouldn't end well for him either.

"You bastard, say something." Ayden got up, ready to kick Ethan.

But Rowen stopped him.

"Mr. Thomson hasn't said to use force yet,"

Rowen said expressionlessly.

Ayden had no choice but to swallow his anger and curse Ethan a few more times.

"It seems this person has quite a strong background," Harrison said, "for you to risk your life hiding him."

Ethan was truly terrified now.

Unable to bear the pressure, he said, "Harrison, please spare me. I really don't know him. I just overheard a few words while drinking with someone. But they told me not to mention this person outside..."

"Outside?" Harrison raised an eyebrow.

"You've benefited from me so much before, but now you treat me as an outsider?"

"No... No, that's not what I meant...”

"I don't have time for your nonsense."

Harrison wasn't interested in hearing excuses. "This is your last chance. Tell me everything you know."

His words left no room for doubt.

Everyone understood that this was the final warning.

Ethan was terrified. He weighed his options in his mind and finally decided he couldn't afford to offend Harrison.

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he said, "I heard from two of Jamarion's underlings while drinking that there's someone called 'Callan' who's very close to Mr. Jamarion Green. No matter what this 'Callan' asks for, Jamarion will do whatever it takes to fulfill it."

"Jamarion?"

"How could it be him?"

"No wonder Ethan is so scared..."

Upon hearing the name, many couldn't help but gasp.

Harrison, however, remained expressionless.

"Do you know his real name?"

"I don't. Even those two underlings didn't know. They hadn't even met this 'Callan' in person. They only heard their boss mention the name."

After saying this, Ethan quickly added, "That's all I know, really. I don't know anything else. Please believe me, Harrison."

Harrison didn't look at him, simply playing with the coffee cup in his hand, and said calmly, "Go sit down."

Ethan sighed in relief and tried to stand, but his legs were too weak.

But no one paid him any mind. Ayden, unable to hold back, asked, "Harrison, did this 'Callan' offend you?"

Harrison set down his coffee cup and said, "He had someone attack Sam."
