 Chapter 260: Deal with Them

"What are you two doing? Let us in to see," Abbie said.

Adeline's expression changed, and she thought to herself how foolish these two were.

"We're not doing anything. Just leave quickly," Adeline said

“Not doing anything? Then why won't you let us in? No wonder Hannah suddenly organized this reunion. Are you trying to scam us?" Jason said.

Hannah's face darkened, and she quietly asked Benjamin, "Should we get rid of them?"

Benjamin smiled slightly and said, "No need. I'm in a good mood today. Let them in. I'd like to have some fun with them."

He had finally met Adeline, so he.was in a very good mood.

After saying this, he tried to take Adeline's hand.

But Adeline quickly avoided him.

He wasn't angry and simply returned to the sofa.

Hannah had the two men at the door step aside.

Jason and Abbie immediately pushed the door open and walked in.

"What's going on here? Who are these foreigners?" Jason asked curiously.

"Hannah, I didn't realize you knew foreigners," Abbie said. "What are you all doing?"

Hannah looked at them coldly, feeling disgusted.

After the door was closed, Hannah turned to Benjamin and said, "Sir, these two were making things difficult for Adetine during dinner."

When he heard this, Benjamin's previously cheerful expression darkened instantly.

"Making things difficult for her?" Benjamin asked coldly. "Who gave you the nerve?"

"Who's making things difficult?" Jason yelled. "We were classmates. Is it a problem to chat a bit? Who do you think you are, acting all high and mighty here?"

As soon as Jason finished speaking, one of the men at the door suddenly raised his leg and kicked him to the ground.

"Ouch." Jason fell to the floor.

"Honey." Abbie rushed to his side to help him up. "Are you alright?"

"Ouch, that hurts..." Jason grimaced.,

Abbie sensed something was wrong.

Trembling, she said, "We don't care what you're . doing. We shouldn't have come here. 

Let us go, and we won't say anything about this."

"Want to leave now? It's too late," Benjamin said.

He then looked at Adeline and said earnestly,

"No one is allowed to hurt her, not even make her feel the slightest bit of sadness." Adeline shivered.

Normally, she would feel touched to have someone protect her like this.

But she didn't like Benjamin, and she knew very well that this man was simply seeing her as a substitute for another woman.

"Sir, how do you want to deal with them?"

Hannah asked, gleeful.

Benjamin looked down from his elevated position at Jason and Abbie.

"Two ants, just crush them," Benjamin said.

Adeline's eyes widened in shock.

"Enough! Let them go," Adeline said angrily.

Although she found these two annoying, they

- didn't deserve to die.

Adeline never wanted to see the couple again, but she couldn't stand by and watch them die inexplicably at Benjamin's hands.

After thinking for.a moment, Benjamin said,

"Since she has said so, let them go." Abbie sighed in relief, quickly helping Jason up, and they both walked out.

As they passed by Adeline, they both nodded gratefully.

They were annoying, but they knew that Adeline had saved them.

The door to the room opened again, and after Jason and Abbie left, Adeline tried to leave too but was stopped by the two men at the door.

"What exactly do you want?" Adeline turned and asked Benjamin impatiently.

"I want you to come with me," Benjamin said. 

"I want to take you back to Mugroaton and keep you by my side forever." Adeline sneered.

She looked at Benjamin as if he had been insane and said, "Look, I'm Adeline, not the Whitney you* keep mentioning."

"Since you look like Whitney, I will never let you go. I won't allow anyone to take you away from me, including Harrison," Benjamin said gently.

A chill ran down Adeline's spine.

Although Benjamin's voice was gentle, she could tell he was serious.

This, man was insane.

Hannah, eager to please Benjamin, approached Adeline and said, "Adeline, look, this gentleman likes you so much. Why don't you agree to be, the conditions are probably better than Mr. Thomson's. If you go with him to Mugroaton, you'll'have a life of luxury and wealth..."

She buzzed in Adeline's ear, making Adeline's already irritated mood worse,
With a loud slap, Hannah received a stinging blow to the face.

"You.." Hannah covered her face in shock. "Why did you hit me?"

"First, because you tricked me into coming here. Second, because you're too noisy," Adeline said, casually grabbing a tissue from a nearby table to wipe her hands. "Are those reasons enough?"

Hannah was furious.

Adeline's slap was really hard. Hannah's face was burning.

But she dared not say anything because

Benjamin was still here.

Benjamin had almost had Jason and Abbie killed earlier, which showed how much he valued Adeline.

Hannah couldn't afford to offend Adeline.

So, Hannah could only force a smile and say,

"Adeline, it's fine if you're angry with me, but I was only trying to help. I'm doing this for your own good."

"If you think he's so great, why don't you go with him?" Adeline sneered.

Hannah was silent, thinking that she would like to, but Benjamin wasn't interested in her.

Hannah glanced at Benjamin.

At that moment, Benjamin's eyes were entirely. on Adeline, full of admiration, and he didn't seem displeased by what Adeline had just said.

Hannah was even more afraid to say anything and could only smile at Adeline.

Adeline couldn't be bothered with her. She turned back to Benjamin, about to say something, when she suddenly felt dizzy and nearly lost her balance.

She quickly grabbed a nearby chair and frowned.

Adeline thought, "What was that feeling just

now? Could it be..

Adeline glared at Hannah in anger.

Hannah dared not meet her gaze.

It became clear that Hannah had tampered with her food during dinner.

Hannah was truly vicious.
