One night stand with my president(chapter 169)

Chapter 169: The Photographer Flares Up

After the lunch break, Adeline arrived at the studio.

The endorsement photos were very important, so she had to be present during the shoot to prevent any unexpected situations.

The studio was located within the Thomson Group, and by now, the staff were all in place, though the photographer had not yet arrived.

This photographer was specially hired by the Thomson Group and was famous worldwide.

She had a quirky temperament and was generally unattainable to ordinary people.

This time, it was Harrison who personally contacted her. They were said to be childhood classmates, and she came just for the sake of the old days.

Eleanor was already prepared, but the photographer had not arrived yet, so she could only wait.

Upon seeing Adeline, she gave a cold snort and signaled to her assistant.

Her assistant approached Adeline and asked, "Ms. Hensley, Ms. Fraser's makeup and wardrobe are ready. Why hasn't the photographer you hired arrived yet?"

"I apologize. Please wait a little longer," Adeline replied politely. "I just contacted her, and she's on her way to the Thomson Group."

"But we can't make Ms. Fraser wait," the assistant insisted. "After a while, her makeup will need touching up. Ms. Fraser is a big star. Can she be treated like this?"

Adeline glanced at Eleanor.

Seeing Eleanor's faint smile, she knew Eleanor had instructed her assistant to come and make things difficult for her.

After all, it wasn't yet the officially agreed-upon time for the shoot.

Adeline was about to say something when suddenly a hearty female voice rang out.

"Isn't it still not time yet? I'm not late. Why all the whispering and muttering?"

Everyone's attention was drawn to the voice, and Adeline turned around as well.

A tall and slender woman, exuding mature charm, walked over.

She had a mane of wavy curls, wore a red trench coat, and strode in high heels, exuding a powerful aura.

She approached Adeline, put her arm around her shoulder, and then said to Eleanor's assistant, "So she's a big star? Sorry, l've seen plenty of big stars, but I've never seen one so fond of causing trouble. What's with the attitude?"

Although she was speaking to Eleanor's assistant, everyone knew she was scolding Eleanor.

Faced with her, Eleanor's assistant dared not say a word and slunk away.

Eleanor's face turned very unpleasant.

She knew this photographer.

She remembered that when she was abroad, she had tried many ways to hire this photographer for a set of portraits but had failed.

So Eleanor had harbored a grudge against her for a long time.

Recently, she had been entirely focused on Harrison and hadn't paid attention to who the Thomson Group had hired as the photographer.

So it was her.

Adeline smiled politely at the photographer and said, "Nice to meet you, Ms. Daphne Vaughn."

"No need to be so polite, just call me Daphne," Daphne Vaughn replied, smiling meaningfully.

"You must be Ms. Hensley?" Daphne said, her smile still mysterious.

Adeline didn't understand the meaning behind her smile but nodded.

Daphne's smile deepened even more, making Adeline feel a bit crept out.

But Adeline composed herself and checked the time, saying to Daphne, "There are only a few minutes left until the official shoot time. Do you need anything from our side?"

"No need."

Daphne waved to her equipment behind her, and soon several men came over with their equipment.

These men were all handsome and tall, and looked at by everyone present with surprise.

Adeline was used to seeing Harrison's handsome face, so she thought they were just fine.

However, she was completely caught off guard by the fact that all of Daphne's assistants were such handsome men.

Daphne laughed. "I'm someone who doesn't like to shortchange myself."

Adeline smiled and said, "Living this way must be nice."

She wasn't referring to the handsome men surrounding Daphne but to the fact that Daphne knew what she wanted and could choose to live as she pleased, carefree and relaxed.

"Absolutely! Well then, let's get started with the shoot. Otherwise, that woman sitting over there might just kill someone with her eyes."

Daphne said this loud enough for everyone to hear, so Eleanor heard it clearly.

She immediately realized she had shown some temper just now and hadn't controlled her expression well.

So now Eleanor quickly put on a smile and walked up to Daphne, extending her hand and saying, "Ms. Vaughn, I've heard so much about you. Finally meeting you today."

Daphne glanced over Eleanor's outstretched hand but didn't shake it. Instead, she said coolly, "Aren't you in a hurry? Let's get started already. What's with all this nonsense?"

With that, she walked directly to her equipment.

Eleanor hadn't expected Daphne to disrespect her like this in front of so many people. She was annoyed but could only endure it.

Soon, the shoot began.

Previously, the Thomson Group had

communicated with Eleanor's team that this time they would take more photos and then select the best five.

Eleanor had been in the industry for several years, so her performance in front of the camera was still good.

However, Daphne kept furrowing her brows during the shoot, showing signs of dissatisfaction.

Most importantly, Eleanor didn't cooperate with the suggestions Daphne made. She insisted on doing things her way. So after a while, Daphne became annoyed and said, "Enough! Whoever wants to shoot, just shoot!"

The staff present panicked at the sight.

Adeline quickly stepped forward to pacify the situation.

"Why don't we pause for a moment and discuss this?" Adeline suggested.

Daphne walked over in her high heels and coldly asked Eleanor, "Miss Fraser, tell me what exactly you want."

"What can I do?" Eleanor said innocently, "You're the one taking my photos. I'm the

subject. Can't I have my own ideas? You're being too domineering..."

"Hold on," Daphne interrupted her, "Don't try to label me. I may have a bad temper, but whenever I take someone's photo, I never oppose their ideas. The problem is, you only have your own ideas and haven't consulted or cooperated with me at all. And right now, you're not taking your own portrait. You're taking endorsement photos. Do the poses and expressions you're making really match the product we're endorsing? Look at the photos we've just taken."

With that, Daphne moved to pull Eleanor toward the photos.

Eleanor quickly dodged away and even screamed.

"Ms. Vaughn, what are you trying to do?" Eleanor asked.
