Chapter 59: Get Me a Man Quickly

Adeline didn't ask any further questions.

After returning home, Adeline received a text message from an unknown number.

[Adeline, it's Millie. You blocked my number before, so l had to use a new one to contact you. How about going out together in a few days?]

Adeline didn't reply immediately.

After taking a shower, she responded, [No, I'm busy.]

She wanted to know what Millie was up to, but she couldn't agree right away, making it seem like a meal together would resolve all their issues.

The room had dim lighting, which brought her an inexplicable sense of fear.

Her hands and feet were bound. And she was tied to the bed.

"What's going on?" Kaylie cried out in fear. "Is anyone there? Help!"

She had been sleeping in her home.

How did she wake up in this place?

Kaylie shouted for a while, but no one came.

Besides her cries, the room was eerily silent.

Kaylie forced herself to stay calm and surveyed the room.

There seemed to be no windows, only a small door.

Aside from the bed she was lying on, there was a sofa and a screen opposite the bed.

Was she kidnapped?

She was the Hickman family's heiress. It was possible that someone kidnapped her for money.

But she had been sleeping at home.

The screen even went dark.
