One night stand with my president(chapter 64)

Chapter 64 : Nonsense

Upon hearing Eleanor's words, Kaylie let out a cold laugh.

Then, she stood up and walked towards Eleanor.

Before Eleanor could react, Kaylie raised her hand and slapped Eleanor hard across the face.

"Damn!"

"Whoa, what's going on?"

"What the hell?"

Even Sam was astonished. He quickly walked over and said in displeasure, "Ms. Hickman, if you have something to say, say it civilly. Why resort to violence?"

Eleanor recovered from her shock after being slapped.

She held her face, glaring at Kaylie.

But she didn't question or scold Kaylie. Nor did she fight back.

She just looked at Harrison with a pitiful expression.

"Harrison...”

Harrison raised his gaze, asking Kaylie coldly, "What do you want?"

"Ah, so now you're willing to talk to me," Kaylie said with a cold smile. "I'd like to have a private chat with you. Is that Okay?"

Fearing Kaylie might cause more trouble, Sam quickly suggested t Eleanor, "Eleanor, let's go over there. Looks like Ms. Hickman has something important to discuss with Harrison."

Eleanor bit her lips.

She didn't want to leave them alone.

But when she looked at Harrison, it seemed like he didn't oppose it.

If she quarreled with Kaylie, it would probably displease Harrison.

So, Eleanor had no choice but to stand up. She suppressed her anger and said to Kaylie, "Ms. Hickman, if you want to talk to Harrison alone, just say it directly. Why resort to hitting directly. Why resort to hitting and yelling? People might mistake the rudeness for the upbringing of the Hickman family."

After saying this, Eleanor left.

She was afraid that Kaylie might go crazy again and attack her.

In any case, she would retaliate against Kaylie.

Kaylie looked at her retreating figure and coldly chuckled.

Then, she wanted to sit next to Harrison.

But Harrison coldly said, "Stay further away from me. If you have something to say, just stand there." Kaylie clenched her fists and asked in a trembling voice, "Was it you who did what happened last night?"

Harrison couldn't be bothered to answer and tacitly agreed.

"Harrison, you're ruthless!" Kaylie gritted her teeth. "You're trying to get back at me, aren't you?"

In reality, she was a bit afraid of Harrison.

But she had no choice but to come.

She was afraid that there might be cameras in the room from last night.

If her embarrassing behavior from last night was recorded and seen by others, then she would be finished!

So, she could only come to negotiate with Harrison.

And she wanted to clarify some things.

"Harrison, I don't have much time," Kaylie said again. "My dad locked me up at home. It took me a lot of effort to convince my mom to let me out."

However, Harrison showed no sympathy for her miserable situation. His expression remained unchanged.

"I was wrong before. I shouldn't have provoked you. But it's also because I like you so much. Don't you understand my feelings for you?"

Every word of Kaylie's reached Adeline's ears.

Although there was some distance between her and Harrison, Kaylie's voice was loud, and Adeline could hear everything clearly.

Presumably, everyone in the private room could hear.

However, those present were close friends with Harrison, and they wouldn't spread rumors about him.

That was why she dared to come here to find Harrison.

Adeline saw that after Harrison listened to Kaylie's words, he still didn't react.

After all, the person he liked wasn't Kaylie.

So, even if Kaylie was sincere, what could she accomplish?

She shouldn't have been obsessed with Harrison in the first place, let alone harm others because of her obsession.

And just now, she even hit Eleanor.

Harrison must be very angry right now.

Adeline lowered her gaze.

Russell looked at her and said softly, "If you don't want to stay here, I can take you away."

Adeline was taken aback, then smiled and shook her head.

It was not that she didn't want to leave, nor was she afraid of Harrison's misunderstanding. She just didn't want to cause trouble.

Russell was very nice and helped her a lot.

Adeline didn't want to worsen his relationship with Harrison.

Russell looked at her, his eyes dimming slightly.

Meanwhile, Kaylie, seeing that Harrison didn't respond to her passionate confession, felt embarrassed.

But she had more important things to address.

So she didn't continue expressing her feelings and instead lowered her voice, saying something that only she and Harrison could hear,

" From now on, I won't do anything foolish or plot against you. So, was there a camera in that room?"

Harrison let out a cold laugh.

His cold laughter confirmed Kaylie's suspicions even more.

Growing more anxious, Kaylie quickly said, "As long as you can destroy any recordings involving me, I'll agree to any conditions you set. Please!"

"Is that so?" Harrison said coldly,"Then I want you to never appear in front of me or anyone around me again."

Kaylie gave a bitter smile and said, "Everyone around you? You mean Adeline, right?"

Harrison didn't respond.

"Don't think I don't know. Everyone now thinks there's something between you and Eleanor, but I just slapped her, and you didn't even show distress,"

Kaylie mocked.

Others might not see it clearly, but being so close to them, Kaylie could see clearly.

Harrison didn't care about Eleanor.

All the romance between them was nonsense.

"The person you care about is Adeline, isn't it?"

Harrison couldn't be bothered with her. He thought Kaylie's logic was strange. Did he have to care about Adeline just because he didn't care about  Fleanor?

Did he have to have someone he liked?

"Fine, as long as you promise to destroy the recording, I won't appear in front of you or Adeline again, nor will I have any dealings with the Thomson family."

"I won't destroy the recording," Harrison said bluntly.

Kaylie was the type to do whatever it took to achieve her goals.

No one knew what she might do in the future.

So Harrison wouldn't just throw away this leverage.

"You!" Kaylie looked at him with red eyes.

"What do you want then?"

"Kaylie, I have no interest in bothering you," Harrison said. "If you behave yourself in the future, that recording will never see the light of day."

But if she continued to play tricks like before, she couldn't blame Harrison.

Kaylie's chest heaved violently.

She knew Harrison wouldn't lie to her.

But she would not behave herself.
