LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 89)

EPISODE 89

Jake only had one consistent visitor for the first month following his arrest, his

lawyer, who came every time with the same bad news. The only other person who could have paid him a visit was also a prisoner in the same facility.

Jake, on the other hand, was blind to the fact that he had lived a life of failure.

"Inmate 0456!" yells the guard. Using the tiny peephole in the prison door, the prison warden called out to everyone inside. "You have a visitor!"

Jake's life in prison was no different from the life he led outside the prison walls. Only difference was that he couldn't move around freely, and no matter how well you are treated in prison, the fact that you are not outside but locked up will never be changed by a good-faith effort. It will never be the

same again.

Then he stood up to leave, saying, "I just hope he comes back with positive results this time." As he walked away, all of the other inmates rose to their feet and bowed to him.

The door to the visiting room was opened, and Jake walked through it.

The only way to hear what the other person was saying was through the telephone that had been made available to you.

"Mom!" When Jake noticed Mrs.

Mallory seated, he explained. He took a few steps to his seat before sitting down.

'"It's been a long time since we've seen each other!" Mrs. Mallory extended her greetings.

"You weren't at the trial, so why are you here now?" Jake expressed his displeasure angrily.

"It will be interesting to see how suffering affects you. And, I must say, it is absolutely perfect for you!" Mrs. Mallory made light of the situation.

"If you're here to make fun of me, please leave!" Jake screamed.

"That's not the case, not at all, son. I came here to talk with you about something you've avoided talking about in the past. This is the story of your conception!" Mrs. Mallory said this with a sarcastic grin on her face.

Jake became increasingly enraged as he listened to what she had to say. He tried everything he could to keep the tears from streaming down his cheeks, but he couldn't. In his rage, he slammed his hand against her plastic blind; making a loud noise. He continued to pound on it in an attempt to break it open so that he could grab

Mrs. Mallory by the neck and drag her

away.

Jake was apprehended and brought under control almost immediately by the security guards. Mrs. Mallory was still talking on the phone, which was in her ear. Jake reached out for him once more, and then he said something to her. "I hope you die sooner than your disease is supposed to kill you!"

Mrs. Mallory was taken aback by how Jake found out about it, but she was

still pleased with herself because she believed she was still in the driver's seat.

Mrs. Mallory's visit and the resulting commotion took place approximately four hours and thirty minutes later.

Jake had a second visitor this time.

"Inmate number 0456! You have a visitor on your hands!" The prison warden stated it once more.

While the guard was opening the door for Jake just before he entered, the guard grabbed him by the shoulders”You'd better keep an eye on yourself and act appropriately this time!" He issued a warning.

Jake didn't even acknowledge him as he walked into the room. He was still enraged by the fact that he couldn't do anything about Mrs. Mallory's situation.

"It's obvious that today isn't going to be my day!" When Jake first saw Joey, he exclaimed.

Just as he was about to take another step, he became aware that there was another person present as well; the moment he saw Mandy, his heart sank with regret. He is filled with regret for not killing her when he had the opportunity. His gaze moved downward, and he noticed her stomach. He confirmed that she was, in fact, expecting a child. He had no idea who the child belonged to. "To whom do I owe this visit?" He asked  as he took his place in the chair.

"Can you tell me why you're here?" Jake  said .

"At first, I thought l'd be the first to inform you of Tiffany's upcoming release, but I was wrong!" Joey shared his thoughts. "Because I'm confident that no one would find out if I didn't."

"Can you tell me what you said?" Jake was taken aback by the news

“You heard me right!”

Oh I understand now. Tiffany has a limited amount of time left to serve her sentence in prison. She was supposed to be here for a longer period of time than I was, but I had to take care of her

responsibilities while she took care of mine in order for her to spend less time here!" Jake  went into detail.

"Ouch!" Then Joey said something while placing his hand on his chest.

"Woe is me! That hurts!" He was playing a joke on me.

"Is that betrayal I'm sensing?" It must be excruciating!" Mandy joined in the fun, making a puppy face.

"You've been taken advantage of, lover boy! As we speak, they are putting Jay Enterprise up for auction, just as they did with the robe of Jesus." Joey informed him of the situation. "Your company, which, solely to protect you, went to extreme lengths you never imagined possible, is already on its way out the door. What a tragedy!" Joey said it again, this time in a sarcastic tone.

"That can't possibly be true! I don't believe you for a second! Tiffany would never do something like that to me! My company can't afford to be in shambles like that!". He said it in a loud voice, as if he didn't believe it. "You must think I'm a complete moron!" He said it again, this time a little more calmly.

"Do you honestly believe Tiffany was ever pregnant for you at any point?" Mandy asked "No! She wasn't lying at all! She only desired to be present in your life at that particular time. Tiffany returned to your side, acting as if she was completely on your side, when in reality, the only side Tiffany ever had was the side of money! She was only

with you because you had money to give her! Tiffany did, at one point, appear to be genuinely in love with you, but what she cherished above all else was your money! You can choose to accept it or reject it, but no matter what you decide, it will not change the truth about Tiffany and why she has remained by your side, glued to you, like a leech on a dog. Do you really believe she did it because she adored you?" Mandy asked.  this time leaning in close to the plastic screen separating the two sides of the room.

"Yes!" Jake responded in a firm manner. "I'm not just thinking about it; I'm aware of it. The suffix ED you added isn't supposed to be there because she still loves me, Tiffany still loves me, and l won't appreciate you stating it in the past tense form because she is still in love with me."

"Get up and go! Get up and go! Jake, please get up and start working!". Mandy screamed at the top of her lungs. "I'm confident that you understand the truth! Knowing you can

see the truth, all you have to do now is wake up and stop living in denial of it.  I'm not sure why you're making it so complicated when it's so straightforward. Tiffany was only attracted to you because of your wealth!" Mandy screamed at the top of her lungs.

She wasn't even attempting to soften the impact of her words by painting them in a more positive light.

She was simply stating the facts in the most straightforward and unadulterated manner she could.

"We need you to tell us where you believe Tiffany could be, and we also need you to come clean about the offenses you've committed in the name of Tiffany's safety. While she's paying her dues, you can get on with your life." Joey, who had been deafeningly quiet, said.

He didn't even appear to be concerned about the situation; he had a relaxed expression on his face. That feeling you get when everything is going well.

"I understand that this will be difficult for you, but it is something that you will have to do at the end of the day. Tiffany lied to you and deceived you." Joey said it again, this time remaining calm in his seat.

“You must think I'm a pushover, don't you?”Jake burst out laughing hysterically at this point. "Because I'm here and you're there, you must believe you have the upper hand in this situation. You must believe that you have won simply because my hands are handcuffed and yours are not." He said it again, this time with a grin on his face. "refrain from estimating your eggs' worth before they hatch. My attorney would be able, to get me out of this situation!"

Joey turned to look at Mandy, who was already staring at him, and after a few seconds of maintaining eye contact, they both burst out laughing.

"Do you have a lawyer?" Mandy inquired.

"Yes, it's my attorney!" Jake responded .

Mandy chuckled and then shook her head in disbelief.

"And when was the last time you saw this attorney of yours?" Joey had approached him and asked him a question. "Can you tell me what this lawyer of yours has to do for you?" Joey inquired once more. "This lawyer of yours was the same person who advised you to take Tiffany's crimes and told you how much easier it would be to get you out of those crimes because you are a better person than Tiffany, correct? After convincing you to make that decision, this same lawyer didn't do anything else for you other than reduce your sentence, correct?"

Throughout the conversation, Joey continued to ask a series of questions

without giving Jake the opportunity to answer any of them. "I only have four words for you: You Have Been Deceived!" "Joey expressed himself by crossing his legs.

Jake looked at Joey with a look of disappointment on his face. Even though he was intrigued by the possibility that everything Joey and Mandy had said was true, he was even more intrigued by the possibility that Joey and Mandy were lying.

The mere thought of it caused him to experience a sharp pain in his chest.
