EPISODE 88
“Taking the bandage off is a good time to do so.” Doctor Ferguson said this as he assisted Joey in getting to his feet.
"Are you going to tell me what happened now?" As he began to remove the first layer of the bandage, he asked. “Isn't it true that you still don't want to say anything to me?!"
Joey's deafening silence elicited a response from him.
"Ah!" Joey screamed as the last layer of the bandage was peeled away from his wounds.
The injury was healing perfectly at this point.
"It. was caused by a gunshot wound," Joey explained.
"I'm aware of that, but come on! While it's true that I didn't remove the bullet, I'm still capable of identifying a bullet wound when I see one. In the absence of knowing what type of injury was sustained, how was I supposed to administer treatment?"
"I'm sure you're aware of everything!"
Joey screamed, attempting to calm down the doctor. "I was only providing a brief introduction to the narrative. It's not as if you're expecting me to just throw everything into one big story without laying the groundwork first, is it? It took place three nights before you arrived at the hotel. One time, as I was walking down the street, a group of masked men appeared out of nowhere."
"Are you taking a stroll down the street?" Dr. Ferguson burst out laughing. "However, it is not you who is walking down the street. So it's not something I would describe as something they are aware of you doing every day and have decided to wait for you to do it one particular day to get you!"
"You are absolutely correct, doc!" Joey confirmed the information. "That was exactly the question that I had in my head until they drove me to my gate," The door was opened, and I was then escorted into the building. "They threw a few punches in my direction..." He took a breath, smirked, and then said. "There were a lot of punches, actually!"
He rubbed his hand over his shoulder, hoping to alleviate some of the discomfort he was experiencing there.
He didn't rub directly on the injured area, but rather on the surrounding area. "They didn't intend to kill me, or perhaps that is just what I believe based on the fact that they just shot me and left me there without checking to see if I was still alive. It was late at night, and fortunately, all of the lights in the compound had been turned off by that point. They were probably even unsure of the location of where they shot me. So, while I can't say with certainty that they didn't come to kill me, I can say with certainty that they came to harm me!" Joey said as he drew to a close his story with a smile.
The question is, "How are you going to afford to smile in this situation?" Dr.
Ferguson asked, perhaps feeling pity for Joey.
"What would you prefer that I do? Cry?
Do you want to be sulky? Do you quarrel and complain? Now, who is this going to be of assistance to? No way! Not me at all! It will only serve to serve as a constant reminder of how pitiful l am. C'mon! No one expects me to live my life in that manner!" At the conclusion, he exclaimed with a burst of sad laughter.
Dr. Ferguson held Joey's gaze for nine full seconds. He was at a loss for what to say to the unfortunate youngster.
Whatever he was going to say would only serve to demonstrate his pity for him, so he simply drew him close to himself and hugged him for a few more seconds.
Joey was in desperate need of it.
"If something like this happens again, please contact me as soon as possible, thank you!" He said this while yelling at Joey. "If you call me even a split second after it happened, when I arrive, I will not leave but will remain with you until I die. I'm sure you don't want to hear that!"
Even before it happens, l'd call you to tell you. Please don't ever consider making this your home!" Joey pleaded .
They both burst out laughing. The instructions for Joey on how to free his wound and take his medications were written down by Dr. Ferguson before leaving the room.

"Do you really intend to remain in this position for the rest of the week?" While holding on to Mandy's room while sitting beside her sickbed, Peekaboo sobbed. “In the event that you do not get out of bed this morning, I will take steps to ensure that you look after me and remain glued to me in the same manner as I am doing to you right now for the number of days you intend to
deceive her. In order to avoid seeing this irritating face of mine wherever and whenever you go, you'd better get to your feet!" He yelled, tears streaming down his face in between his words.
"That is something I absolutely do not want!" Mandy responded in her loudest voice pitch she could muster at the time, but it still came out sounding very low.
"Yeah, I know you don't, so you'd better get used to it..." When Peekaboo realized what had happened, he raised his head to look around. "Mandy!" The moment he saw her eyes open and with a faint smile on her face, he screamed in delight.
He hurried away from her and dashed to Call the doctors, completely forgetting in his excitement that he could actually just dial the number from the landline that had been made available.
"Mrs. Mandy, I have to say that your situation is unlike anything I've ever seen before. To think that you and your child would survive this, let alone both of you, is beyond belief. Once you leave this location, make a point of going to your God and praying to him. The miracle child you've got there breathing inside of you is nothing short of amazing."
After examining Mandy, the doctor wrote something down that he handed over to the nurse.
"Can you tell me when she'll be able to leave this place?" After the doctor had left, Peekaboo approached the nurse and asked her.
"At most, two days. She might be able to leave as early as tomorrow." In addition to adding some additional information to the patient's pad as well, the nurse explained.

Joey was sitting behind his study desk, as he always did, working on a pile of files that was almost as tall as him and, almost as wide as his face.
He reached out with his hand to grab hold of his phone, which was ringing at the other end of the dining room table.
"Okay!" He was responding to a statement made by the person on the other end of the phone line. "I'm on my way!"
Joey jumped up from his desk in a split second. He snatched his jacket and then reached for his keys in his pocket.
He was in a state of ecstasy. Mandy had returned to her hometown. "Don't worry, l'd take care of everything. All you have to do is get the gate for me! I told my driver," he said.

There was no need to say anything because the eyes were already doing all of the talking.
Joey had the impression that Mandy was the only other person in the airport besides himself at the time, and Mandy had the impression that Joey was the only other person she could see beside herself.
Joey began by taking small steps, but his stride became faster as he neared the destination. Eventually, he couldn't take it any longer and ran towards Mandy. Her not-so-protruding stomach couldn't keep him away from her.
Mandy, on the other hand, couldn't care less about it. Heaven knows how much she longed for him at the time.
Peekaboo was standing there like some inconsequential and insignificant character in the story. He had already begun to feel ill. He, too, wished for a hug. "Come on, over here!" While making preparations for Peekaboo's entrance into the hug circle, he said something to him.
Everyone at the airport looked at them as if they were insane, but they couldn't have
cared less about their appearance.

"I had a voice recording of the entire phone conversation between my friend and Tiffany," He had agreed to serve his sentence in prison and to turn himself in to the authorities. He also decided to give up his job as a hired assassin after I promised him that I would help him start his dream business. Nam Jun had always dreamed of owning a large coffee shop of his own. A passion for coffee has been a part of his life since childhood. Brewing them was one of his favorite pastimes, and the way he always designed his coffee had a distinct and different artistic touch. However, the
dream came crashing down when he realized that he would never be able to
afford such a venture. Consequently, he is already serving his sentence in South Korea, and his sentence would be reduced as a result of his decision to turn himself in, despite the fact that-he had never killed anyone in all of his years of doing so. In order to get away, from the country and go somewhere far away, he always gave the people he was asked to kill the money he was paid to flee away from the country and go somewhere far away, which is why he had never been able to save enough
money to start his own business and had earned the reputation of always doing his job perfectly." Peekaboo gave an explanation.
"Good!" Joey shared his thoughts.
He Looked over his shoulder, then at the two people who were sitting in front of him, and then a smile appeared on his face.
“My name is Michael, and I was shot a few nights before Mandy was abducted. I know you have a lot of questions running through your head about this. A long story that has been condensed As a result of my survival, l was able to track down the people who
shot me and, to cut the long story short once more, l was successful in obtaining the confessions of those responsible, as well as their agreement to testify in court as eyewitnesses. With this, I am confident that we will be able to give Jake and Tiffany a taste of prison life, even if it is only for an hour or two. In the same way that they've both enhanced my and Mandy's experiences. The only difference between them is that they are both guilty of their respective crimes." The expression on Joey's face was one of satisfaction as he said this.
"It's possible that the legion will have to reassemble!" Joey added.

"...You are being detained and you have the right to remain silent, as well as the right to consult with an attorney, because anything you do or say will be used against you in a court of law," When Jake and Tiffany arrived at Mallory's house, a police officer told them that the house had been raided.
