EPISODE 82
"When I was on my way to the office where I had gone for a job interview earlier in the day, I happened to run into her. I believe she simply came out for a stroll; I would not say she came out to jog because she was not dressed in any athletic attire, but she was also not dressed in a manner that suggested she was going somewhere important.
Additionally, the way she walked seemed to indicate that she was preoccupied with something else. Due to the fact that I was in a hurry, I accidentally bumped into her. But she was walking perfectly calmly, and the only reason she didn't notice me coming was because she was thinking about something else."
"Can you tell me where this was and when?" Peekaboo asked.
"in the vicinity of Mr. Nam Joo's supermarket. We're a few minutes past seven o'clock." he said.
"Okay, Joon ah, thank you very much for your assistance. You have no idea what a great deal you have done for us, like, you've just made everything a lot easier for us. Thank you very much for your assistance."
"Thank you very much." Seo Joon shared his thoughts. "Can you please keep the noise down? I haven't slept well in days due to the preparation for this interview, and I've been awake since past one o'clock this morning. Please, I need to get some sleep." He pleaded.
"It's fine, no problem," Peekaboo responded.
"Thank you very much."
As he walked away from the room, Seo Joon said something.
In hushed tones, Peekaboo said to Mandy, as he moved closer to her after Seo Joon had left, "So, this is what we're going to do. "I would conduct a three-day stakeout in and around that location. I would try to see if she would come around again, and if she does, I would try to make a note of the time
she usually comes around and the location she usually goes to, because that area is densely packed with businesses."
"Okay.'
"When I have gathered all of the information we will require, you will be responsible for putting it all together in an effective manner by staging the scene. You understand what I'm saying, don't you?"
"I do, in fact. Yes, without a doubt." Mandy exuded confidence in her statement. "While you are gathering intelligence, I would rehearse my acting lines and scenes in order to be able to use the information more effectively." She expressed herself.
Peekaboo extended his hand for a handshake, and then Mandy reciprocated by shaking his hand.
They exchanged friendly smiles as they could already feel the rush of excitement rushing through them.

"Hello, Mum!" says the child. Tess said this as she jumped onto her couch the moment she walked through the door.
"I've returned. So, that's what you were saying?"
"Oh, honey!" Mrs. Mallory greeted her with a joyful call once more. "All I wanted to know was how my baby was doing at the time. Knowing how much time has passed since we last spoke, I...l miss you."
Neither Tess nor her friends were buying any of this. She was well aware that there were some underlying elements to all of this, despite the sugar-coated emotions and sweet talk.
"Mom!" She raised her voice. She was going to force her to spill the beans on her plans. "I'm aware of what's going on, but l'd prefer you tell me yourself for the time being."
She had a unique method of getting her mother to talk. The two ladies didn't get to spend much time together for a long period of time, but when they did, they either used the time to argue or to bond with one another, depending on the situation.
"Can you tell me what you mean?"
"Mom!" Tess shouted.
"What do you mean you're aware of what's taking place? I'm not sure what you're looking for, exactly. I'm unable to simply call my daughter and tell her that I miss her?"
"Mom, you're right! You won't be able to. Put an end to all of this and just let it all hang out."
"All right, that's fine." Mrs. Mallory admitted defeat after a long battle.
"See! I had a feeling it was coming!" The words came out of Tess's mouth and were directed at herself rather than at her mother.
She was well aware that the moment she blurted that out, Mrs. Mallory would realize she didn't know anything and would say nothing.
"Say it," she said, maintaining the impression that she already knew what
was going to be said.
"Do you remember my friend Mrs. Tracey, the mother of Nathan?"
"How about her?"
"Well, one day we were having a conversation and we got to talking about our children, and then we realized that both of our children are single..."
Tess slammed her palm against the back of her head, knowing exactly where this conversation was headed.
“You do remember Nathan, don't you?"
"How could I not, being the kid who had a runny nose all the time?" Tess thought to herself. She shivered as she recalled the sight she had witnessed. "I do, Mom, I do,"
"Consequently, she stated that she would discuss the matter with her son, and you are aware that I do discuss the matter with you. You and your partner are planning to tie the knot. Do you have any idea what it would mean if this works out, honey?" Mrs. Mallory said it with a tinge of excitement in her voice.
"This is something I don't care about, don't know, and I don't care again. Regardless of whether I do, it will not occur. Why is this? Because I have decided that I will not be marrying Nathan! I'm getting off the phone!"
"Te..." Mrs. Mallory attempted to call out several times before realizing the call had already ended. "Oh, that obnoxious brat! I'm curious as to who she is modeled after." Mrs. Mallory screamed as she swung her phone in the air before tossing it on the floor next to her.
"There is absolutely no way I'm getting married to someone who has a runny nose," Tess declared as she flung her coat across the bed in frustration.
"Ewe!" She exclaimed as the scene flashed before her eyes once more.
*****************
"Do you think you're ready?" Peekaboo asked Mandy, who was by this time preparing for the event with these costumes.
"Right about... now!" Mandy responded as she carefully adjusted her disguise cap to fit her perfectly.
"That's fine with me. I'd say we've gotten pretty much everything we needed." While walking closer to Mandy, Peekaboo made a remark to himself as he stood by the mirror. "Do you recall what you were supposed to Say?" He asked as he assisted her in adjusting her coat.
"It's almost like it's my name!" Mandy responded in a confident manner.
"That's a good thing! Within the next thirty minutes, we would be on our way."
"Thirty!" Mandy burst out laughing.
"Can you tell me why thirty?"
"Well, according to the results of my research over the past three days, Tess visits the candy shop every Tuesday by 3:00 p.m.,". He went on to explain.
Mandy was completely taken aback. If this was the case, she was perplexed as to why Peekaboo kept bugging her to get her preparations done faster.
"Why did you put me in such a difficult situation? Why were you putting pressure on me to hurry up?" Mandy was abrasive in her demands for responses.
"I don't want us to end up forgetting anything in our haste to catch up with the fact that we are running behind schedule; additionally, finishing early would allow us to have enough time to settle down, remain calm, and be prepared for the task ahead." He went on to explain further.
"Peekaboo, it's only one o'clock in the afternoon. She is a regular at the establishment by three thirty, as you have already stated. So, what could I possibly be putting together in the next two hours and thirty minutes? Why did you even say we would be leaving in thirty minutes if we weren't going to leave? That will be approximately two hours from now. What exactly are we planning to do there? Is it necessary to prepare the premises for her grand entrance?" Mandy was still enraged
over the fact that Peekaboo forced her to do things in a hurry, which she despised, in order for them to arrive at the destination two hours early.
"Anything could probably happen on our journey, but at the very least, no matter what happens, we would still arrive before the deadline. Furthermore, you must be coming out at the same time she would be entering, which means you must arrive at the scene before her." He went on and on with his explanations. With no trace of regret in his voice, Peekaboo continued, "I can see you are dissatisfied with the fact that I rushed
you, but, that's still an option I would choose over and over and over again."
Despite the fact that Mandy had anticipated an apology and was already planning to be a little difficult to please before she would accept his apology, the response she received from him only served to inflame her
rage even further.
"Seriously! You are not going to apologize?"
"Erm...nope!" He replied with defiance.
"I would call you when I'm ready." He said as he walked away to get the other things he would be needing ready.

"Babe!" Tiffany called out to Jake who was standing by the window lost in thoughts.
"Jay!" She called out again but yet still got no response. She stood up from the edge of the bed where she sat and moved over to Jake. "Why are you deeply lost?" She asked as she tapped him on his shoulder. "What in the world Jay!" She exclaimed as he shuddered in a way that got even her scared. "We were just discussing and I asked you a question a few minutes ago, I actually thought you were still trying to think about it before giving me a response but here you are already deeply buried in something else." She lamented.
'"I was actually thinking about what you said," Jake said as he turned to face her. "Do we really have to?" He asked her. "I mean we could still achieve our goal without having to go through all of that babe. Besides, if we get caught, if the mission fails, I don't think it's something we could easily wade off.
We may have to go to prison Tiff! Did you even think about all of that?" Jake
asked again as he drew her closer to himself and kissed her on her forehead.
He was attempting to persuade her to comply with his demands. But his magical touch seemed to have lost its magic as it wasn't so magical after all.
"Yes, babe, and no! Yes, to your question of if we really needed to go through the path, and no to your statement of us still being able to achieve our goal without taking this path. How long have we been on this search now, tell me how long? Okay, what's the assurance that if we do find her she would give in to our demands. We don't have much time. We need to find her and quickly too, this group I'm telling you about is an elite group and they are quick in getting their job done and the only job they do is kill. So why don't we use them in killing two birds?
Once we find her, we have to kill her." Tiffany said nothing to Jake and didn't even blink.
