LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 54)

                         EPISODE 54

"Good morning ma'am!"

"The tech guy right?". Tiffany asked for confirmation.

"Yh! That's me!" Allen replied. Allen, was there to get the vault open disguised as a tech-savvy analyst.

"Oh! You are here already. That was fast." Tiffany said to the young man who was holding his toolbox.

"Kai! Thank goodness you came around."

Tiffany ecstatically called out.

"Ma'am I..." Kai tried saying but Tiffany wasn't ready to listen to whatever it was she had to say.

"Nah Nah Nah! No time for explanations." Tiffany said cutting her short. "Quickly run upstairs and get the file on the desk for me."

"O...kay ma'am!" Kai responded looking confused.

"She would be right back, just give her a few seconds," Tiffany said to the young man.

Kai wasn't aware of the presence of another, she turned her head towards the direction of Tiffany's eyes.

It was love at first sight.

"Oh! My! Biceps!" Kai screamed within her.

"How could a single individual be this good-looking." She said to herself as she drooled over him.

The young man wiped off some sweat pores on his face with the back of his palm, this would normally be considered disgusting, but for Kai, it was the most seductive sight her eyes ever beheld. His tan top exposed his amazing biceps, which made Kai drool even more.

"It's fine ma'am. I don't mind waiting." The young worker replied to Tiffany's statement with a bright smile on his face.

At that moment, the sunray flashed on Allen's face making him appear as someone standing in the spotlight.

"Kai!" Tiffany called out trying to snap her out from whatever thoughts she was developing.

"Yes, yes ma'am" Kai replied in an instant.

"You are still haven't left? Aren't you supposed to be back here with the files already!"

"I'm so sorry ma'am! I am  really really sorry! | was engrossed with a thought on something else. I would quickly go get it now." Kai said as she ran up the stairs. "How can a single human be that fine?" Kai asked as she blushed her way to the table on which the files lay. "I hope he doesn't get to open the vault today so I could maybe see him tomorrow too," Kai said excitedly.

Falling in love with a member wasn't part of the rule. With Kai and Alien now, the most important rule would be broken. So what happens when the entire fight is over.

" She would be back soon," Tiffany said trying to appease Allen who she felt was already getting pissed after she ran out of questions to use in engaging him in a conversation. "Oh, there she is!" Tiffany said feeling relieved as she sighted Kai.

"Here you go, ma'am!" Kai said as she stretched out her hand wanting to pass the file to Tiffany.

"Oh no no no no! You would be going with him!" Tiffany said. "I know you don't like it but you don't have a choice."

"Like it? I love it!" Kai screamed in her head.

"Shall we?" Allen asked Kai.

"Yes, I guess!" Kai responded shyly.

"Oh, this is going to be fun!" Kai screamed, again to herself.

Little do they know though, there existed a cord binding them together. It wasn't the legion cord, but the cord of fate.

"Okay! No problem, just inform me when the preparations are complete." Joey said as he ended the call.

"Any update you'd like to share with me?" Mandy asked Joey.

"Nothing much. Squad one just called me to inform me that they would be going to Itaewon soon. They would be meeting up with Jake's team about the investment discussion." Joey said as he walked away from his study table moving closer to where Mandy was.

"You haven't been filling me in on your check-up at the hospital for weeks now," Joey stated as he gently sat on the couch.

"Erm... it's just because there is nothing much to say." Mandy said avoiding eye contact with Joey.

"Oh really!" Joey asked. He was sounding like he knew something and at the same time, like he knew nothing, it was quite confusing. "There really must be nothing much to say, if you say so yourself."

"Yh, that's just..."

"Cut it out, Mandy!" Joey said raising his voice. " Until when? Until when were you going to hide this! I thought we agreed on no secrecy." Joey bemoaned.

"If you knew already then why to ask me still," Mandy said trying to act strong. "Do you even know why I never talked about it," Mandy asked?

"Why don't you tell me."

"Okay fine. I looked at you, at the moment when I wanted to talk to you about how I felt, and then I saw a young boy who needed a shoulder to cry on. I wasn't feeling so down, I could still handle my body so, I didn't really consider it bad to hold back the pain. After all, we ain't even so sure if the pain I felt was just a normal stomach ache or a pain caused by the pregnancy." Mandy said.

While Mandy went on with her blabbing, which was what it sounded like to Joey, he just stared at her, waiting for her to finish her entire propaganda.

"Are you done?" Joey asked when it seemed to him like she was done talking. "Mandy I called doctor Crystal," Joey said to her tired of playing around with her jokes. "The doctor told you to refrain from anything that could stress you, she asked you to have optimum rest, didn't she? But no! You didn't! If I never asked I wouldn't stumble upon this fact." At that moment, Joey's phone rang. He picked up the phone and realizing who the caller was, he had to quickly attend to Mandy.

"Your trip to South Korea had been placed on hold, for now. We have to observe your condition for the time being." Joey said

signaling to her when his hand that she was free to leave the study.

It's been a really long while since the last time Mrs. Mallory visited the residence.

"Nothing seemed to have changed." She said as she walked into the building. "You still haven't left?", Mrs. Mallory said to Tiffany who was on the couch, legs crossed.

"Don't you have an iota of shame? If you don't have shame then you definitely should have self-pride, the person talking. "I neither have shame nor self-pride. So can you rest now old hag?"

"What did you just call me?" Mrs. Mallory asked getting worked up."

What do you even know about making money. All you know how to deal with is to sit here and spend all the money made. You bloodyass trial!!

"Call me that one more time and I would make you regret it for the rest of your forever," Tiffany said getting infuriated. "Just one last time."

"What exactly are you going to do? Send me away?" Tiffany scoffed. "Oh trust me! This time around you wouldn't dare.

"Don't test me, young lady. You wouldn't love the result." Mrs. Mallory said.

"What are you even doing here?"

Tiffany asked Mrs. Maliory fed up by her visit. "Isn't the penthouse enough for you?"

"One more word from you and I am going to help you see the stars." Mrs. Mallory responded.

"One more word from you and I'm going. to tell everyone the story you are hiding with your child," Tiffany said to her, whispering the words into her ears.

Mrs. Mallory lost her balance for a moment. Luckily for her, she had something to hold on to. "What story?"

Quit bluffing." Mrs. Mallory said as she tried to get her stance back.

"If you are going to threaten someone, provide substantial evidence. Up until then, you would keep seeing my face around here, so get used to it."

"A vault?" Joey asked Kai over the phone as he drove Mandy to the hospital personally.

"What vault?" Joey asked again.

"I really don't know sir. All I know is that we've been trying to open one for about a week now."

"A vault! A vault!" Joey said as he drove the car.

Memories kept flashing through Mandy's mind and she heard the word vault, but it wasn't clear at all, it was vague. " Wait!" Mandy exclaimed like she remembered something. "How wonderful! Life is indeed a bag of trouble." Mandy said.

"What happened?" Is everything okay?"

Joey asked Mandy. Mandy smiled when she saw the look in his eyes, it was one of the things she liked to see, that look of worry and concern.

"I'm good!" Mandy replied.

"You sure about that."

"Heck yeah, I am!" Mandy said. "It's just, I think i might know where the vault is." She was expecting Joey to be shocked and excited, but he wore an expressionless gaze.

"I think that is something everyone knows by now," Joey said. "It's not some kind of new info."

"Well, what if I told you I knew the passcode then," Mandy said feeling proud.
