LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 52)

                              EPISODE 52

The curtains blew towards whatever direction the wind took them, spring

was absolutely a wonderful season of the year. The sun rays passed through the open window and rested on Tiffany's face. Tiffany could feel the light on her face, but at the same time she could feel something trying to ward it off.

"Hey babe!" Tiffany said in a sleepy voice as she opened her eyes slowly.

"Good morning!" She greeted, trying to ward off the sleep in her eyes the same way Jake was warding off the sun rays.

"Good morning!" Jake responded.

"You've been sleeping for a long while babe" Jake said again as he readjusted himself on the bed. I got bored from working in my study so l decided to come see my joy giver, and then boom! I stumbled upon her sleeping. I wanted to just walk away because I definitely didn't want to cut her rest short, so l decided to just tiptoe quietly, but then again, I saw the sun rays resting on my baby's face and I just couldnt go knowing she was getting scorched by the sun. So there you have it, I decided to lay with you to keep you safe from ultraviolet ray." Jake said as he moves his hand gently over Tiffany's hair.

"Babe!" Tiffany cried out ignoring every other thing Jake had been saying, because all along, only one thought kept replaying in her head. "You still didn't tell me about the incident that occurred that night." Tiffany asked with curiosity in her eyes.

"I could tell you right now if you want me to." Jake said.

"Yh, I want you to." Tiffany replied.

####FLASHBACK####

"You seem down. Is everything alright?" Jake had asked Mandy.

"Yh, everything is fine. Thanks for your concern." Mandy replied.

Tiffany had imposed it on Mandy that they were to wear the same dress, at some point in the party regarding the fact of that friendship. Mandy had constantly and continuously refused that because according to her it was childish, but trying to talk to Tiffany out of it was just like talking to a dead wall.

She was adamant about changing her mind.

"This definitely looks weird!" Mandy said to Tiffany as she stared at herself in the mirror in the dressing room

"Excuse me ma'am, but was the gown specially made just for you?" Tiffany asked Mandy trying to pretend like a total stranger.

"Oh cut it out Tiffany!" Mandy cried out.

"I won't wear this gown after this day. Is that really what you want?"

"Whatever babe, let's go!" Tiffany screamed over the loud music party.

"Don't forget to take your mask with you. It's time for the mask dance."

"Tiffany!" Mandy cried. "You really should stop watching that movie! It is causing damage to your psyche and mentality. Can't you see?" Mandy cried again, but Tiffany was already long gone by now. "Where in the world did we get entangled from? What exactly am I supposed to do with her?" Is there someone I'm supposed to meet

through her?" Mandy asked herself.

"Oh well! Why do I even bother asking questions I have no answer for."

Mandy walked out of the room, minutes after Tiffany had left. As at that moment though, the drug in the alcohol was already having effect on her.

Everywhere seemed blurry and everyone seemed like a wavey special effects was placed on them, as they appeared to her in a wavey manner.

"Ouch! My head aches." Mandy cried out as she placed her hand on her head Little by little, the masked dance floor was emptied, everyone was getting hit by the drug. The essence of this masked dancing was so you could easily swap partners, without fear of being watched by the person.

"Heyyyyy." Jake said as he came around. "Is it just me or did you get taller." Jake chipped in.

"Do you even know me before?" Mandy asked him.

"Really!" Jake exclaimed laughing. "For tonight, think I would let you win."

They both giggled and chuckled as they flirted with each other.

"My legs ache from wearing this heels."

Mandy cried out.

Jake turned around trying to scan for an empty space. "How about we go sit down there?" Jake suggested pointing towards the empty sofa at the long end of the hall way.

"Oh, that would be nice." Mandy replied.

Jake stretched out his hand, the same way a guy does when he was about asking a girl out for a dance. He only wanted to help her walk. "Let me walk you." He said. Mandy gave him her response with a shy smile. He held Mandy's hand as he they both walked down to the empty sofa.

While Jake engaged Mandy in a conversation, he wondered if he was actually talking with the person he had been dating for years. All along, Jake thought it was Tiffany. They wore the same dress, and to him even their voices sounded alike at that moment.

The drug had a strong hold on him.

"Have you always been like this?" Jake asked her.

"I don't understand." Mandy responded, sounding confused. She kept wondering why the figure before her kept talking to her like he knew her.

"It's nothing. Nevermind." Jake answered.

That night Jake saw Tiffany in a different light. Mandy stood up to go use the restroom and then she returned.

"I love you!" Jake said out of the blue. "I really really do!" He said again, with a soft voice.

This was the last thing he said still a little bit concious. Every other thing that happened afterwards, happened not with his full conciousnes. Mandy had sat at the other end of the sofa.

When Jake got to the middle of the very long sofa he stopped, then he pulled Mandy into his body. Mandy didn't resist, because at that point, she also seemed to like the familiar stranger, and with the assistance from the alcohol, it wasn't quite difficult for them.

#####END OF FLASHBACK######

"If all of this happened, why did you act all surprised to have seen her beside you on the bed when you woke up the next morning." Tiffany said.

"What do you mean?" Jake asked. "The person I was with was you. The moment you left to use the restroom, Mandy came in, wearing the same dress as you, to confuse me, probably. I'm sure she already sensed the fact that I was drunk, and she decided to utilize it to the best of her ability." Jake lamented. "Babe! The conversation we

had that night, it's still very fresh in my memory, although your voice sounded a bit different, but I guess it was all just part of the influence of the alcohol. Moments when it seemed like I was getting fed up with our issues, that discussion, it gave me reasons to hold on every single time. I wish you could be that way again." Jake requested with a shy look.

Tiffany was filled with rage. She was supposed to say it wasn't her that night, she was supposed to tell him she was the one who had requested that Mandy wore the same dress as she would, but she was furious, because right now she doesn't feel like denying any of that. She was scared about what might really happen, if she told him the truth.

"You are right babe. Mandy had locked me up in the restroom. I never knew this was her intention.

"Why didn't you tell me this all along?"

Jake asked even more infuriated that the victim.

"Let's just move away form the past, and focus on the present. We have more important and pressing issues to address.

"Yh, you're right. About Mandy's finger print to the vault." Jake said.

"So l met with a tech guy, said his name was Allen. Did my research on him, past is clean, has no criminal records, guy is a clean guy." Tiffany said with a smile.

"So when would I be meeting with this tech guy." Jake asked Tiffany, radiating with excitement.

"Soon baby! Soon!" Tiffany said as she lay on the bed, forcing Jake to lay on it too. She wrapped her hands around him. "I want to go back to sleep, and I want you in my arms. So I want the two I love here with me, I don't want to let any go."

"Well I ain't leaving you either." Jake said as he wrapped his hands around her too.

This is not the time for cuddling and sweet talking, it was time for war, but Jake and Tiffany had just failed to realize it.

################

"I'm going in tomorrow!" Allen said to the rest of the group on a conference call.

"Alright then. Goodluck!" Dudu said.

"Oh! I don't need luck to win." Allen replied.

There it went again, that intimidating confidence.

"So it's a vault we are talking about here right?" Angel asked.

"Yh, it is." Allen replied

"This should be fun! I mean, we all know what vault contains. You have to get every document in there Allen, we need every information we could possibly lay out hands upon." Ford said.

"What is that?" Mandy asked Joey with shock on her face as she stumbled upon him.

Her eyes moved over slowly to his hands and what she saw pushed her to the floor. "Joey! This can't be!" Mandy cried out as he eyes became teary.
