LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 41)

                              EPISODE 41

It's been two days since Mandy left the Mallory's residence and the search for her is still on.

"Here you go!" Joey said as he slid a can of yoghurt across the long central table towards Mandy.

"Thanks." Mandy said as she raised the can to him.

"You're welcome." Joey said as he reciprocated the gesture.

They did an air cheers.

"So, is the movie any good?" Joey asked trying to start up a conversation.

"Erm.I guess you could say that."

"Oh I see. Lemme join you then." Joey requested.

"Oh sure. I don't have a problem with it."

"Even if you did, I was still going to see it though." Joey said.

There was this personality Joey had, he was always very blunt, open and honest about his feelings.

"Why did you tell me making it sound like you were seeking my approval." Mandy said to herself under her voice.

It was already forty eight minutes into the movie, and Mandy was still finding it hard to make a sense out of it. Joey tried his best to hide it and not to show it, but, it just wasn't something he could make a sense out of either.

Mandy couldn't say it because she already said it was good, Joey couldn't say anything either because he forced himself into seeing the movie with her, they were both stuck, forced to enjoy something that wasn't digesting well with them.

"So, I have been meaning to ask for a very long time..." Mandy began. There was this grateful look on Joey's face, as Mandy broke the silence. "Me and you, getting to meet each other and be here today was it really just plain old coincidence?"

Joey kept silent for a while before finally speaking up. "No! Not really, it wasn't coincidence. That we got to meet wasn't just by chance."

Mandy had a hunch that it was all staged, but she still hoped to be wrong about it.

"It was fate!" Joey said giving off a cheesy smile.

As much as it sounded weird, Mandy was happy still, at least for once in her life, fate was bringing her good tidings. At least so she thought. Mandy was enthralled.

"What is the progress over there?" Mrs

Mallory asked over the phone.

"Not good Ma! Not good at all! I still can't convince the board to be on my side."

"Well you have to up your game!" Mrs Mallory yelled getting infuriated. "This is an opportunity we just might never get to have again. I didn't send to Stratford to study psychology and to East London to study marketing just so you could give me lame answers like this when I ask for feedback. You better put your knowledge into practice,"

"I will up my game mom." Tess replied.

"It's not like you have a choice!" Mrs Mallory said as she hung up feeling disappointed.

"Good morning babe!" Tiffany said placing a kiss on Jake's cheek as she woke him up to breakfast in bed. "I know how stressed out you are, and I definitely want to be the last person to add to it. So..." She said with a sexy smile as she walked seductively to the bed side table dragging it as she wiggled her ass at Jake."... want to be your pain killer and your stress reliever." She said placing a kiss on the other side of his cheek.

"Oh baby!" Jake said feeling helpless with no energy to fight back how he felt. "How do you get me so well? What can I ever do without you?"

"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" Tiffany said with so much conviction. "So don't you ever think of leaving my sight." She said, indirectly referring back to Jake's statement about going to prison.

"Nah ah! I would die if I do!" Jake said with a smile.

What a good time to be in love, what an even better time to be in love at the Mallory's residence, Life wasn't so fantastic at the

Brandon's residence. Everywhere can't be Rosy, and everything can't be good at the same time, that's life isn't it.

"I thought you said it was more than just a coincidence! I thought you said it was fate!" Mandy said breaking down in tears. "So...so...so...what is this I hear? What is she even doing here?" Mandy asked Joey pointing at Kai.

Joey just stood there, no excuse, no explanation, he just stood there like a lifeless pole, clenching his fist firmly tight as be cursed himself within for ever making Mandy shed a tear. Where exactly was he going to start his explanation from, he wondered.

"Lie to me, if the truth would break my heart." Mandy said while she still sobbed.
