LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 33)

                              EPISODE 33

Mandy raised her eyes, looked at the person before her, and then looked away again.

"How can life be so wicked to one person?" Mandy asked Joey as she began her story.

Saying what was in her head would help her make sense of her situation, at least that was what she thought.

"Why don't you tell what life did, maybe I would understand why life chose to be that way," Joey said as he adjusted his seat, leaning in closer.

"So there is this girl called Mandy, ever since she was born luck never visited her. She never got to meet her parents and had no idea about who they were and if they were still alive or not. She was adopted when she was five, into a very wonderful family, about a year later she got to have an angel as a baby sister, but not even for once did her adopted family made her feel like she was anything less than family. All her life she did literally everything together with her kid sis, they were both in the same class. She grew up finely, life wasn't good for her but she never stopped smiling. Her baby sister was the life of the party, while she was the party pooper. One day she came across her baby sister's diary by chance and what she read broke her heart. "I think big sister doesn't like me, she is never lively at my party, maybe she hates me. She had to learn how to enjoy having fun. The two girls grew up to be inseparable until a very unfortunate night came by. Mandy had woken up next to the boyfriend of her kid sister in bed; she became pregnant, and was left with no choice but to marry him. Getting married to him was the worst decision she made, and forever, every day of her life, as long as she breathes she regrets that decision. The once lovely relationship between the two sisters grew to become one filled with hatred. Somewhere down the line, Mandy lost the baby, as well as her sanity and purpose for living. She tried moving on and getting by with life until another night came again and the same unfortunate scene replayed. She has the hope that she would be pregnant again but she desperately yearns for the result to come out negative. "Mandy said concluding her story, her face still turned away.

—Mandy’s story is so touching, right ?—

'"What if..." Joey said. "What if she finds out she's pregnant again, what do you think she would do?" He asked.

Mandy scoffed. "I don't know honestly... just don't know."

"Do you think she would take my advice if I give it to her," Joey asked his gaze fixed on Mandy?

"Why don't you give it to her first?"

"She should run away. The Mallory's would only destroy her even more, that is all they are good at."

Mandy looked at Joey the moment he made that statement. She couldn't decipher where it was coming from.

"What do you mean?" She asked still in shock and confusion.

"Mandy, run into my arms, I would help you fight this."

"I don't know what is going on in your head or what gave you the idea that I was referring to myself. I really don't know what made me even think talking to you about this was going to help me, I don't blame you, I don't blame me either, I blame life. Just forget any of these ever happened." Mandy stood up and then she walked away.

"Let's go!" Mandy said to Jonas who was resting on the body of the car, watching the view. You could never get bored once you are here, just the view is enough to keep you entertained for hours.

The moment Mandy got into the car, a smile rested on her face... Strange.

"The results are out ma'am." The receptionist at the lab said handing it over to Mandy.

"Can I see the lab scientist?" Mandy requested.

"Oh yes you can, just give me a minute."

"The results say you are pregnant ma'am, two weeks pregnant." The scientist said with a smile.

"Congratulations."

"Huh...hmmm..thank you," Mandy said with an obviously fake smile.

Mandy walked out of the lab with a pale look, she rubbed her hand over her stomach and teardrops flowed down.

"What do we do now baby? How do we survive in this cruel world? Should we tell daddy, or should we go with what uncle Joey said? Baby, do you even want to see the world, or should I just let you go?" Mandy said in a shaky voice as she broke down in tears.

She bent down at the entrance of the lad and sobbed bitterly. A tiny piece of paper flew out from her pants pocket.

She picked it up and stared at it.

"Oh, Joey!" Mandy called out with a smile.Sniffing her nose, she wiped off her tears. She brought out her phone about to make a phone call.

"Should I call the number I have on my phone already or should I call the one written on this paper?" Mandy asked herself, stuck in a state of dilemma.

—what do you think Mandy should do? If you were Mandy what would you do?—

Do have a lovely day💋💋💋
