Mandy paced around the room, rubbing her earlobes. "Little human growing in me!" Mandy stood before her human-sized mirror and then she moved her hand softly across her stomach. "Is this what I think it is?" She asked herself. "But wait... why do I feel like this person is close by," Mandy said finally having a clue to start off her investigation with.

Mandy quickly drafted out her suspect list, with Tiffany at the top, followed by Jake and Mrs. Mallory. No surprise there. These three are the musketeers in her life.

"Yes, it's either one of them, and I'm sure they are just doing this for fun and just to tease me," Mandy said.

She looked at the list again and then after heaving a sigh she swapped Jake's and Tiffany's names.

Remembering the message talked about what had happened last night she felt Jake should top the list.

Things were going to get interesting moving forward.

"Here is the water you asked for ma'am," Kai said as she placed the glass cup on the stool taking it out - from the tray.

"Why is it this warm?" Mandy asked as she took a sip from the glass." If it was a bit warmer than this then it would be classified as hot! I'm sure I clearly asked you for a cold glass."

"But ma'am, you shouldn't be taking cold things anymore. Its not good for you!" Kai had said.

Mandy paused and tried really hard to understand what Kai had said.

"What do you mean 'not good' for me?

And why shouldn't I be taking cold things anymore?" Mandy asked.

Kai knew she had sold herself away but she still tried to see if she could get away this time.

"Did you forget already? I didn't want to remind you because I didn't want you to remember the hurtful memories. The day you lost your child, the doctor asked you not to take cold things."

Mandy squinted her eyes like she was trying to focus her eyes on a particular image. "Oh yeah, that's true!" She exclaimed. "Funny why you remembered it today though, I mean you've been serving me cold drinks ever since, so do you mind telling me why now."

Kai picked up the empty glass. "As I said, I just didn't want to remind you of the pain, but I just can't hold it in anymore, that's all."

Mandy sized Kai and then she raised her brows, making her crescent-shaped eyes look like a full moon. "Thank you, you may go now."

"Thank you, ma'am," Kai said as she turned to take her to leave.

"Kai! Kai! You don't want me to add you to the list do you!" Mandy said within herself.

"No no no no no!" Kai shouted as she ran towards Mandy. "I would pick it up for you, you are not supposed to bend over you know!" Kai added.

Mandy watched Kai in disbelief. "Is this lady serious right now?" She asked within her.

Mandy was looking extra dashing today, her skin tone became even brighter and her skin got clearer. Her curly hair was neatly packed into a doughnut, leaving some strands falling on the left side. She tucked it behind her ear as the non-stop wind kept blowing it into her mouth. Her flower patterned nude-colored gown complimented her body so well, looking like it was made just for her.

The split very close to the middie exposed as her sexy straight legs. Jake was a fool for not noticing this beauty.

"So what are you going to tell me this time Kai? Why am I not supposed to bend over?"

"Well, ma'am it's..."

"Let me guess," Mandy said interrupting Kai. 

"When I went to pee the doctor told you about it and you are just telling me now because you can't keep seeing me go against what the doctor had said."

"Ma'am, that's actually...you know the thing is..." Kai stuttered.

"It's okay, no need to explain yourself. I understand and I truly appreciate your kind gesture, your worry, and your concern." Mandy said with a smile.

The sunray rested upon her face the very moment she gave out the smile making it seem like she was standing in the spotlight. Whoever said Mandy wasn't a beauty.

"Thank you, you can go," Mandy said taking her book from Kai.

Kai bowed as a display of respect and then she left.

Mandy thought really hard as she walked towards the garden. The look on her face said it was definitely something serious.

"Kai! Pretty kind Kai!" Mandy said to herself as she entered the garden. "You are acting too suspicious, making it hard for me to resist adding you to the list."
