LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX (EPISODE 25)

                      EPISODE 25

"Why? Why are you pushing me away?" Jake asked as he stopped obeying Mandy's request.

"No, I should be the one asking you why?" Mandy replied. "I should be the one asking that question, why are you doing this Jake? We both know you don't feel anything for me so why are you trying so hard to get me into falling or you! What do you want? To watch and laugh at me when I go through the heartbreak you would cause me? Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you won't get that which you seek!"

"Really Mandy! Really! To you all I want is to have you fall for me so I can break your heart and then laugh at you as I watch you suffer from the heartbreak?" There was disappointment in Jake's eyes. "I really didn't expect you to have such thoughts about me. Yes I know I'm bad, wicked, terrible, all the bad

descriptions you could think of, good and fine I won't argue, but I am not that bad, I'm not so terrible."

"if you won't leave, then I am going to." Mandy said ignoring all the things Jake said. "Okay then, you made your decision sion." Mandy said walking out of the room as Jake had refused to move.

"Mandy! Mandy!" Jake screamed after

her.

Mrs Mallory watched her storm out of the house, she tried calling out to her to get her into coming back so she could do her usual of pissing off Mandy.

Mandy on the other end, was not ready for her drama, she just shut herself to her environment entirely and then she walked out of the house, she wanted to be anywhere but here.

Mandy heard footsteps following her behind as she walked on the sidewalk on the road. She was patient trying to study what was going on and be sure of her hunch before making any rash decision. She tried checking out the person through the shadow reflection.

She had initially assumed it was Jake trying to get her to come back, but then she realized it wasn't Jake.

Fear gripped her!

She walked slowly, and she noticed the person walking in that pace too, she increased her footsteps and the person also did the same.

She walked faster almost like she was running, and the person did the same too. Mandy took to her heels and then she ran into a corner.

The road was very lonely, people weren't threading so much on the path, it was quite lonely. Mandys heart raced as she hid behind the wall.

Once again, she heard the footsteps.

Mandy placed her hands over her mouth trying to cover the sound of her breathing, but it seemed like it wasn't helping.

The steps became closer and closer and Mandy almost fainted. She saw a small stone on the floor few steps away from where she was, she stretched her left leg towards it and dragged it closer to her. She bent down and then she picked up the stone.

“God please save me!" Mandy cried out as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Jake, where are you?" At this point seeing Jake's face is all Mandy wishes for.

"Ouch!" A manly voice cried out, holding on to his head where the stone had hit him.

Mandy tried running away but she was held back by a hand.

"Please don't harm me, please!" Mandy, cried out covering her head.

"Ma'am it's me!" The voice said. "Ouch!"

He cried again as he felt the sharp pain. Mandy raised her head at the sound of the familiar voice.

"Joe!" Mandy said as she saw the figure who held on to her dress. "What are you

doing here?"

Joe looked at Mandy and rather than responding to her question he screamed

"Ouch! Ouch!" Rubbing his hand over his face, trying to get Mandy's attention to what she had done.

"Oh my goodness!" Mandy exclaimed.

"I am so sorry! But it's kind of your fault, why were you walking behind me like a thief? I was scared."

"Ouch!" Joe cried out again.

They both walked out of the corner into the open.

"Mandy!" Jake screamed out as he saw her walking with Joe. He quickly hid his face not wanting them to see him.

"What is she doing with him?" Pockets of sweats dripped down Jake's face, his past had come to haunt him.
