LEGALLY MARRIED TO MY EX(EPISODE 18)

                             EPISODE 18

Tiffany was confused, she looked at Jake wondering if he had answers to the questions floating in her head.

"C'mon let's go!" Mandy said to them noticing they were just at a point.

This wasn't the Mandy they knew. The plan was to make Mandy feel humiliated, not to make them shudder in fear.

"What are you up to?" Tiffany asked her trying to hide the fact that she was scared. "What's all of this acting for? You don't have to act bold and confidence, all because you want to make us feel insecure, just be yourself, scared and fearful."

Mandy scoffed. "You know what Tiffany, l think you are the scared one here. No no no scratch that! I know you are scared."

'"What! Me! Scared! Of what exactly, you?" Tiffany was getting defensive.

"I don't need any other confirmations. Your reaction just now says it all." Mandy said smiling.

Tiffany turned to Jake, trying to make eye contact with him, but he was just looking everywhere except at her and Mandy. "Won't you say anything?" Tiffany asked not being able to hold it anymore. She needed backup, she couldn't afford to loose this argument.

"Let's just go already." He said walking ahead of them.

Jake walked in hands locked with Tiffany. Most new employees never knew there was a Mandy in the picture, they all actually thought Tiffany was Jake's wife.

Almost like it was intentional, the moment Mandy entered was when the spotlight started working, and the soft music playing in the background, complimented her dress perfectly. She was the star of the show. Her beauty shone brightly. Tiffany felt small and intimidated where she was.

"That was supposed to be my spotlight." Tiffany said to herself with jealousy in her eyes.

This was supposed to be the most embarrassing night in Mandy's life, but it turned out to be the night where she wore her crown looking the most beautiful. Everyone walked past Tiffany, and went straight to Mandy to compliment her on her look.

Some brand agencies, scouted her, and pleaded with her to come work with them.

"It's not because of what I wore, it's the confidence I had in me that made me beautiful." Mandy said to herself, with a proud smile. Tiffany and Jake had no idea how much good they had done for Mandy.

The moment Jonas drove into the compound, and parked the car, Tiffany walked out of it like it was an allergy she had to run away from.

'"Why the rush?" Jake asked following after her.

"Don't talk to me! (Tiffany yelled.) Why don't you just go back to your Cinderella wife."

"C'mon! (Jake said holding her back.) You know I didn't do that intentionally. l was with you all through the party, I only spent about five minutes with Mandy. It wasn't even like I was with her because I wanted to. The investors asked me to. (Jake held her by her face.) You know it's you right, even if I spent a whole year with Mandy it would still be you. You're the only one I see, I've told you this before. You don't have to feel insecure about Mandy, it's just you." Jake was getting Tiffany in the place he wanted.

"It's okay, it's just those five minutes felt like forever. I felt insulted and humiliated. Plus everyone kept staring at me like I had something on my face. I even eavesdropped on a conversation where they called me shameless. All of that was happening, and I was still trying to process it all when you suddenly left me to go be with Mandy."

"Now you know what's in my heart, are we cool." Jake asked holding her two hands.

"Yh, we are." Tiffany replied with a smile,

Mandy got out of the car after loosing her patience. She had waited in the car hoping they would be gone so she could come out because she didn't want any of their trouble or drama.

"You really should stop feeling insecure." Mandy said as she walked past them. Tiffany's voice was so loud, no matter how hard you tried not to hear her, you definitely would.

(TEXT MESSAGE)

"If you want to know the truth about what happened at the party. If you want to know why you woke up with your best friends boyfriend next to you on bed, then call me back in three hours." - UNKNOWN NUMBER.

Mandy was shocked when she saw the message pop up on her phone screen.

It was nine in the morning, Jake already left for work and the Mallory's residence was quite at least for now, until the daily drama starts.

"Mandy! Mandy!" Tiffany screamed from downstairs.

Whenever Tiffany screamed Mandy's name this way, it was always a sign that trouble awaits.

Mandy didn't want any of the trouble Tiffany was trying to bring today, she was already tensed up by the message she had received.

"Oh wow! (Tiffany blurted out as she saw Mandy with her phone.) I called you and you ignored me, and you weren't even doing anything."

Tiffany had gone up to Mandy's room.

"What is it you have with me Tiffany. Can't you just stay a whole day without being in my business. Must you always have a conversation with me. I really don't have time for this please, I have a lot of other things on my mind."

"I don't have time for you either. I won't talk to you if I dont have a reason to. Your sight irritates me."

"Perfect! (Mandy exclaimed.) Wonderful! We are both on the same page. You don't like me, I don't like you. You hate my guts, I hate yours too. So why don't we just stay away from each other then." Mandy said tiredly, she was fed up by Tiffany's constant pestering.

"Look Mandy, I'm not here to stare at your ugly face."

"Then why are you here Miss most beautiful!" Mandy said sounding frustrated.

"I came to tell you that you would have to move out of this room, into the guest room, because I would be moving in." Tiffany said with her arms folded.

"What! You can't be serious! Yh, you can't be serious because you are definitely just kidding." Mandy said feeling infuriated.

"Well you could scream all day if you'd like. I don't really care. All I want is for this room to be empty before tomorrow, because anything see when I come here would taken to the

waste house."

Mandy held Tiffany back just as she was about leaving.

"You know me Tiffany. I am quiet, calm and I flee from trouble, but I'm sure you know how I could be when I reach my limit. (She moved closer to Tiffany still holding her hand.) Don't push me to my limit quicker than I'm supposed to get there. You won't like the Mandy I would

become if I get there, and trust me I am getting there." She held Tiffany's hand even tighter.

Tiffany shuddered, she moaned from the pain Mandy's grip was causing her.

Ever since last night, Mandy had been showing different sides of her that are really scary.

"I am not afraid of you. (Tiffany said hiding her fears.) Whatever card you have, put it on the table, and let's see who wins this game."

Tiffany freed herself from Mandy's painful grip and then she walked after the room, slamming the door after her.

"That was scary." Tiffany said in a low voice, placing her hand on her chest as she leaned on the door.

"This is going to be fun." Mandy said with a scary smile on her face as she stared at herself in the mirror.

Mandy had been in the room all through the day. The message she had received in the morning kept her worried. She couldn't sleep, all she did was pace around the room wondering who sent her the text, why and what the message was about. While she still pondered on it, another text message entered. Again it was from the same unknown number.

(TEXT MESSAGE)

"If you don't call me before the day ends, what happened that night would forever be a question in your head." - UNKNOWN NUMBER

Mandy was scared. She pondered if she was to tell anyone about this.

"If I am to tell anyone, who would l even tell it to. No one is on my side." Mandy said in a way that made her sound pitiful. "Kai!" She suddenly remembered she had one person on her side. "I should tell Kai about this."

She stood up from her dressing table. and hurried to her door with her phone in her hand. As she grabbed a hold of her door knob, another message entered from the same number.

(TEXT MESSAGE)

"Don't even think about telling anyone about this. I am watching you." - UNKNOWN NUMBER.

Fear gripped Mandy. The entire place became cold, as she shivered in fear.

Mandy slowly looked around her room trying to find any hidden camera.

"Am I being watched?" Mandy asked herself just before she charged out.
