EPISODE 2
She came back into the room with a cup of coffee and sat on the bed, sipping her hot coffee gradually, enjoying every drop in every sip.
Her phone rang from behind her. She turned around and grabbed it immediately.
"Yes...?" she grawled into the receiver as she answered the call.
"Tiffany, why aren't you at work yet?" Tiffany sighed. It was her mom who persistently wouldn't stay clear of her business.
"Mom... I just woke up not too long ago..."
"Tiffany!!" Her mom yelled from the other side of the line. "What do you think is the time now? What's wrong with you?"
"I don't think I want to work at the studio anymore mom. I'm not cut out for that work stuff okay? I provide you guys with everything you need. What else bothers you?" Tiffany asked out loud, really pissed at her mum.
There was a deep sigh from the other end of the line. "Tiffany... don't tell me you still go out with your ex..."
"He's not my ex!! How many times do I have to tell you that, mom? Why is it so difficult for you to understand?" Tiffany yelled back at her.
"Aside from the unchangeable and undeniable fact that his mother hates you like some kind of piece of sh*t, he's married to your best friend!" Her mother yelled back in response.
"Now that's whom you should call my ex! That conniving b*tch!"
"Oh, Tiffany... don't tell me you are going to stop working all because that billionaire gives you a lot of money! When are you going to grow up? You need to grow up girl, and be your own woman!" Her mom shouted again.
"I've got a headache mom. See you later..." Tiffany mumbled and ignored her mom's warnings, and hung up the phone on her.
"Tiffany, Tiffany? Oh she hung up on me? What a nerve!" her mother said in a rage and walked away from the phone.
Tiffany rolled her eyes, picked up her empty cup, angrily got up from bed, and walked out of the room. She had a lot of places to go to and needed to start of f her day from somewhere.

"Good to see you so early, Helen!" Quincy spoke out happily as Helen came out of her car.
Helen left the parking lot and met halfway with Quincy and exchanged handshakes. The two co-workers greeted and chatted as they found their way into the main entrance of the big magnificent company complex.
The premises was as wide as a standard estate with various buildings standing tall all around People dressed so smartly and corporately, moving around, going about their usual routine. Cars continued rolling in as the parking lots filled up and as workers flooded the place.
This place is called 'De Mallory Enterprises' and is solidly run by Jake himself. Although he had numerous workers all over the place that did him every bidding, he never used that as an excuse to stay idle.
He would even get to work before some of the workers did, putting them in trouble most of the time because he never tolerated lateness
to work.
He was not only feared but also dreaded. His workers were always on the run at his presence, doing everything possible to please their boss who would never be pleased no matter what you do.
Jake worked day in and day out, overseeing everything going on in the company. He was a prudent worker and boss and it paid off anyways.
Well, the young man had his reasons for deciding to single-handedly run his company all by himself. This reason was known to most of the workers.
The first section of the office was already occupied by members of staff who got as busy as bees at the reception. When the boss walked in, they all stood up immediately and chorused with one a greeting,
"Good morning Boss."
As usual, Jake only gave a short nod and looked around trying to figure out who and who was not yet at work.
A table was vacant and he knew immediately who it was that was not present. It was Nelly, his secretary.
"Nelly isn't here yet?" He asked in a cold voice.
"Um... sir... I think I saw her this morning. Maybe she went to get breakfast...," Helen said.
Jake turned to look at her. "How many times do I have to tell vou not to defend anyone in their absence? Do you want to get laid off your work?"
Helen gasped. "Oh no, not at all sir! I'm sorry sir!" She apologized and quickly clamped her mouth shut.
Jake looked around once more before smartly walking into his well-decorated office with a view.
Jake was rounding up his breakfast when Nelly, his secretary walked into the office.
"What do you want?" He asked without looking up.
"Miss Tiffany is waiting outside. Should I let her in? I tried to explain to her that you do not wish to be disturbed at the moment, but she got angry and she is already making a scene," Nelly explained.
"Let her in immediately. I only asked you to cancel my appointments for today, not stop my girlfriend from coming in to see me."
"Okay, sir," Nelly said and quietly left the office. It was another big offense if your shoes dare make any sound on the floor or if you should mistakenly make a single noise with the door.
"There he is!" Tiffany exclaimed as she walked into the office.
Jake looked up and finally smiled for the first time since the day started.
"There she is!" He replied.
Tiffany walked around the table and sat
on his laps. She dunks her nails into his soft brown hair and kissed him slowly on his lips.
Jake grunted as he ran his hands along her almost naked back and pressed her harder, chest to chest, to himself.
"I've missed this, I have missed you girl."
Tiffany stopped and looked into his face.
"Now, you want me to believe that? If you missed this really as you just said, then divorce that b*tch already. I wonder what she's still doing in that house! Anytime I come into the
house and see her, I feel like puking right into her face! She's such a disgusting shameless
Dre!"
Jake breathed in and touched her hair.
'"You know I would divorce her if I had the chance, Tiffany. You know how my mother is and more so, she's carrying my child. My hands are completely tied. Each passing day, | keep on wishing there's something I can do about the whole situation..."
Tiffany stood up and walked to the window, her back turned against Jake.
A careless tear rolled down her left cheek. She wiped it away quickly, glaring at the window as her mind drifted to the night Mandy betrayed her.
***FLASHBACK***
(Four months ago)
"Ouch! My head... It hurts so bad!" Tiffany mumbled as she slowly sat up on the bed. She looked around, trying to remember how she got in.
She couldn't remember a thing at all.
"What happened?" She mumbled again as she stood up and walked out of the room.
She went down the stairs looking around and belching the whole time as a result of the hangover she was having.
Most of the people who attended the party the night before had already left, leaving the whole place in a mess.
Tiffany met a few people still around though, but she couldn’t find her boyfriend and her best friend. "Where could they be? Did they leave without me?" Tiffany asked.
She walked into the other hallway, checking the rooms.
She heard some noise from a particular room and stopped in front of the door.
Slowly, she pushed the door open and walked in, only to see the greatest shock of her life!
On the bed was Jake her boyfriend and her best friend Mandy.
Tiffany gasped as she stared at them.
"What's... what's... going on here?" She stammered, feeling so dizzy.
"Tiffany... it's... it's not what you think. I don't know how I got here," Jake pleaded looking confused too.
Tiffany looked at Mandy as she tried to cover her naked breasts. "Mandy?"
Mandy looked up with tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry," That was all she could say.
"You b*tch!" Tiffany screamed as she charged at her. She pulled her by her hair and flung her down off the bed and onto the floor.
Mandy screamed as she tried to free herself from the grip of her raging friend.
"Stop, Tiffany... that's enough!!" Jake shouted as he carried Tiffany off Mandy's body.
"Let me go!!" Tiffany screamed madly as she tried to get lose.
"You will pay for this! You will pay for this!" Tiffany continued screaming even as Jake took her out of the room.
***REALITY***
Tiffany snapped out of her thoughts as she felt Jake's presence beside her.
"I still can't believe she did that to me. sleeping with you and getting pregnant? God!"
Jake placed his hands on her shoulder and slowly turned her around so she could face him.
"But you know it's you I love. I don't even like her at all, so love is so out of the picture. You don't have to worry about anything. Once she puts to bed, I'm going to divorce her and this time around, there will be no excuses, l promise."
"Are you sure?" Tiffany mumbled as she smiled with a few tear drops sliding down her cheek.
Jake smiled. "So sure, I cross my heart and hope to die," he said assuringly and hugged her.
