Episode 19
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" Mandy apologized as she bumped into Kai.
"I'm so sorry ma'am," Kai said apologizing back. At Mallory's residence, whatever happens between the staff and the boss was always the fault of the staff. That was the rule. So to Kai right now, it was her fault for standing there causing Mandy to bump into her even though in the real sense it was Mandy's fault for not looking properly.
"Oh no no no! Mandy never really fancied that rule, she just couldn't make a sense out of it. It's my fault, you don't have to apologize." Mandy said holding unto Kai whom she almost pushed to the ground. "Sorry again!" Mandy screamed as she lets go and runs downstairs.
Mandy's heart was pounding really hard and very fast, it definitely wasn't because of the little marathon she did running down the stairs. Mandy was scared, realizing that she had no one to talk to made her even more scared.
The whole running and jamming into things and people Mandy did became loud and noisy.
"What's the entire ruckus for?" Tiffany who was a victim of Mandy's noise pollution came out asking to rub over her sleepy eyes. "Can't someone have some peace and quiet? Is too much to ask for!" She wailed.
"I'm sorry Tiffany," Mandy shockingly apologized for the first time without stressing over the issue.
Hearing Mandy actually apologizes to her without adding stories either before or after the apology drove the sleep out from Tiffany's eyes immediately without delay.
"What did you just say?" Tiffany asked again, wanting to be sure she had heard correctly.
"I said I'm sorry Tiffany. I know I'm disturbing the peace and quiet of the house but honestly, I don't know what else to do or how else to tackle the situation," Mandy was looking at frustrated as she sounded.
"What do you mean situation? What are you talking about?" Tiffany sounded concerned.
Excited about the fact that someone finally asked, Mandy, opened her mouth to speak without really thinking much. "It's... (Mandy remembers the stern warning she had received) ... nothing. It's nothing, just don't mind me.
"You know I'm not buying that lie," Tiffany said refusing to give up.
"You don't have to worry I would be fine."
"I'm not worried about you. (Tiffany said after scoffing.) I wasn't asking you because I care, I'm only asking because I just don't want anything that would affect me in any way."
For a moment Mandy actually thought Tiffany cared, but hearing her say this, she is not very surprised either.

Mrs. Mallory walked into the main house, obviously bored from staying in the penthouse all by herself, and also definitely to come to piss off Mandy and Tiffany because she hated both.
"Mandy! Mandy!" Mrs. Mallory called out immediately she walked in.
"Tiffany! Tiffany!" She called out too.
Both women came out almost at the same time from the different places they had been.
"Just take a look at them (Mrs. Mallory said looking at them in a disgustful manner) two unwanted guests. Wait! (She said almost like she remembered something) Guests are people you are likely to invite, so you both are not even worth calling guests, you are parasites, two unwanted parasites.
Mandy and Tiffany stood like kids being scolded by their mother, and watched Mrs. Mallory go on and on with her ranting.
“Aren't you ashamed? Don't you have even the least amount of pride in you? How long do you both plan on staying here, humiliating yourselves?"
"Ma'am!" Tiffany said. “If all you called us out here for, is to insult us, I don't know about this person, (she stretched her hand pointing at Mandy) but I definitely won't stand here just to hear you insult me. In case you don't know, your son begged me to be here, I'm not some kind of parasite or a leech, I won't be at places I don't get invited to be at, Nah, I am not that person, I have never been, and I never would be," Tiffany stormed out of the living room.
"I can't believe that woman! I can't believe she called me out just to insult me. Mandy can stand there and listen to the old hag insult her, but not me, definitely not me," Tiffany said as she grabbed her phone and pounced on her water bed.
To Mrs. Mallory, Mandy was paying attention to what she was saying, but all Mandy saw were her lips moving.
The only thing Mandy heard was her inner voice reading the text message she had received out loud to her. That was the only thing on her mind right now.
"Mandy! Mandy!!" Mrs. Mallory screamed when she realized she's been talking to herself all this while. "I can't believe this, you've not been listening."
"Was I supposed to?" Mandy retorted.
"What?!" Mrs. Mallory said agitatedly as she stood up from the couch.
"Stop! Stop!! Just...stop!!!" Mandy cried out. "Just stop all of these things already!" Mandy said with frustration burning in her eyes.
"Your son doesn't like me, fine! You don't like me, fine! Tiffany doesn't like me, still fine! I don't really care and I don't complain do I? So why can't you all just leave me alone," Mandy charged at her. "I try really hard to not even breathe so you all won't notice me but no, you come looking for me like l'm the air you need to live. I didn't want to be here either; I didn't see myself in this kind of situation either. So you all should just leave me alone please, I'm choked up already because I haven't been breathing, talking is making it all worse for me," Mandy said almost forming teardrops in her eyes.
The drama wasn't over, Mandy paced around in her room, from her bed to her dressing table, to her dressing room, to the toilet, she even had a cold bath, trying all she could to see if she could think properly and find a solution to the problem.
Mandy was on her bed, head faced towards the ceiling, she focused her gaze on the celling almost like the answers would appear if she looked at it very hard, then a knock sounded on her door. Mandy heard the knock twice, but she didn't even budge. She remained on her bed.
"Mandy! Mandy!! Open the door!!!" Tiffany shouted from behind the door.
Mandy already knew it was going to be either Tiffany or Mrs. Mallory, she would have included Jake in her gaze, but it wasn't time for Jake to be back.
She reluctantly stood up to get to the door.
"What do you want again?" Mandy asked tiredly, as she talked with Tiffany from the small area she had managed to push out her head from.
"Open the door," Tiffany demanded with her hands folded.
"I don't understand, is this not me opening the door. How are you able to see me if the door isn't opened, or do you have an ultra vision, can you see through things now?" Mandy sarcastically said.
"Hahaha! How funny? Maybe you should pursue comedy as a career. You would thrive in that field." Tiffany said as she pushed the door wide open.
Mandy just stood at the door and watched Tiffany have the show she wanted.
"What?!" Tiffany yelled as she entered.
"I can't believe you haven't packed up yet. You really want your things thrown out ,right. Get all of your trash out of here, this is the last time I would be saying it."
Mandy smiled, Tiffany saw it and found it weird but Mandy smiled even more.
"There is one trash that I need to throw out first." She walked towards Tiffany, picked her off the floor, and flung her outside.
"Mandy! Mandy! Open this door!" Tiffany screamed as she banged on the door, furiously.
"You are the least of my problems right now Tiffany. So just shut away!" Mandy said loudly over the banging noise Tiffany was making so she could hear her.
"Mandy! Oh, I would make sure you regret this."
Mrs. Mallory was deep in sleep, she was tired after she visited the main house. She had gone to piss off the ladies, but they gave a show instead, and so she came to sleep it out.
"Drmmmm! Drmmmm! Drmmmm!" Mrs. Mallory's phone vibrated on the bedside drawer.
She tiredly moved her hand over the drawer until she got a hold of her phone.
It was a text message from an unknown number.
"The injury you had left a scar, and that scar would become visible."
The sleep in her eyes automatically disappeared. Mrs. Mallory fidgeted.
She knew it could only be one person who would send her such a text because she had made this statement to only one person. Despite the air con in the room, Mrs. Mallory had sweats pockets as everywhere became hot.
Mrs. Mallory was scared, an emotion she hadn't felt in a very long while.
Things were about to get messy.
